Came here a little over a week ago to try and get my hair from dark brown to grey. Yes its a process and we’re still not there but I have nothing but great things to say about my stylist. First time here and had Ajay do my hair. It took forever but anyone that’s gone from dark to really light knows that its no easy task. I’ve definitely found a place I know I’ll be going to from now on. And once my hair color is to what I want it to be, I’ll be posting a picture up too.

Patty is my stylist, she’s amazing! She’s honest and very good with cuts and color. :)

Seriously, miracle worker .
My hair was a bad ash blonde with a HINT of green.
I was not meant to be a hair stylist in this lifetime lol .
I’ve been to other salons and have asked them for a specific look and no one was able to get it done.
That is when I took matters into my own hand and turned my hair green. So after failed attempts I went to Wendy, showed her pictures on my phone & she delivered that and then some .
I will be going back when I want to switch it up because I know she’ll get the job done!

I’ve been coming to Red Hair Salon for about 3 years now. My hair stylist Patty Alvarado has always made me feel as her priority and since I’ve been coming here she’s been the doctor to my curly-​thick hair. not only has she kept my hair healthy, she continues to treat it as if it’s her own lol she is a hair stylist that became a friend. Red Hair Salon is a chill spot to relax, have a couple of laughs and to get your hair done all at the same time I’d recommend this spot to anyone!

I love this place! I’ve been going to patty for almost 5 years now and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She’s super personable and friendly, she has never messed up my hair. She is awesome! Book her!

Patty Alvarado is my hair stylist! I NEVER have had the most amazing hairstylist! I have been going to her for over 7 years and my hair has tripled in thickness! Before my hair was brittle and very thin! With Patty’s expert advice and good energy she now has to thin out my hair for the cut to look perfect! I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair and I change it quite a bit! I recommend this place and especially Patty! You won’t regret it!

Been coming here for a few months now and getting my hair cut, styled and colored by Patty. She does such an amazing job every time. She’s taught me how to take better care of my hair and color. She is both amazing and patient especially when i get off work late and running a little behind. She always goes the extra mile to make me look fantastic (not that i already wasn’t looking fabulous ;)) Look forward to our next appointment, and i’ll be recommending her to friends and family!

My hair stylist Wendy is absolutely amazing and a miracle worker! Took me from jet black to ash blonde in just a few sessions ! Best of all! My hair wasn’t damaged throughout the process. She is honest and will straight out tell you wether it is safe to something or not!

Before Red Salon I visited Susie hair Salon on Fransiquito there is always such a long wait there and I always try getting my hair lighter and never achieved it. I read the reviews here about Red Salon & ask for Wendy since heard good comments so gave it a try

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I have to say that Ajay does an excellent job. He knows exactly what type of haircut I want to get and does a great job with fades and tapers. Very cool and relaxed guy, will go out of his way to arrange an appointment with you. I definitely recommend anyone in the West Covina area trying to get a fresh cut to go see Ajay at Red Hair Salon!

I get my cuts here from Martha and she always does an awesome job. I’ve been following her around every time she moves from what spot to the next. My bros and i have been getting cuts from her for about 6 years and never had 1 bad haircut. I highly recommend her! Tell her i sent you!

Great hair cuts, I needed a place to get my hair done, I’m glad I found this place, Ajay did my hair, great fade, exactly how I asked, and even suggested a better way to style my hair. Thank you Ajay. Will definitely be coming back to this location ;).

Wendy is a bad ass bitch. She just gets it and is a hair genius. I’ve come to her for years and she understands what you want. A true perfectionist at her art. I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else and would recommend her to everyone! The best of the best at her trade. She’s a true artist. A true artist at heart.

I’ve been going to RED Hair Salon for over 2 years now, my stylist is Wendy, who’s also the owner. She’s amazing. I started coming to her before my wedding, in search of the perfect stylist for m big day. When I came to Wendy I was coming from a stylist who had to retouch my hair every week with bleach and dye, so you can imagine her reaction. Right away from the start she took care of me. She told me to stop bleaching and dying my hair. I was shocked, a hair stylist who didn’t want me to spend all my money on her from the beginning by stopping me from doing what I was doing all along. I told her what I wanted for my hair and my wedding. She knew what to do, I didn’t have to intercept or tell her anything else. She did a great hair dye before my big day, got me the color I wanted without damaging my hair.
After my wedding I came back, she had to cut my hair because it was so damaged from 2 years of non stop dye and bleach. She told me instead of a re touch every month I should do it only every other month and that bleaching isn’t necessary, not even every other month maybe 3 months, depending on my hair grows. So I returned to her again in February, after going to her in November.
This time I brought my sis in law who wanted to get highlights on her dark red hair. Wendy right away said no, she said super blonde high lights would make her look darker and not go well with her skin tone, we were both so shocked, again she stopped us from spending crazy money just by being honest. Any other ordinary stylist would just do whatever even if the client doesn’t look good but she didn’t. Needless to say my sis in law was so happy with the recommendation she gave her with what tones would look better with her skin tone.
Since going to Wendy my hair damage is less, yes I still dye my hair but not a s often, especially since my stylist says so. And I trust her judgement when it comes to my hair.
I’ve changed my hair look a bit here and there but I always trust Wendy, I drive all the way from LAX to WEST COVINA just for her, her assistant Brandy is amazing as well. She does what she’s told by Wendy, and does an amazing job. Needless to say Wendy gained 2 very loyal clients.

I go to this place from fontana. Great people. Make you feel at home. Knows how to cut hair perfect Every time !
