Mt Calvary Faith Lutheran Pre-School

My son has been attending Mt Calvary Preschool since he was 2 years old and will be entering the 4 year old class in September. I am impressed with the instruction he has received from the staff and all that he has learned since he began attending the school.
The instruction goes beyond the classroom. In fact, the staff helped us potty train him, which was proving to be difficult for us and him. In the last few months they have demonstrated that they really care when they helped us deal with the illness and passing of his grandfather.
My husband and I are very confident that the staff is dedicated to the well-​being of our son. He spends most of his time at school, I would not keep him here if I did not think they cared for him in the same manner I do.

I have had my son in this daycare for over a year and a half. I appreciate all the hard work that the teachers do. My son enjoys going there and he is sad when he misses a day. My son has NEVER been left with a soiled diaper and they actually helped us potty train him. Every time that I have gone there they are always doing something fun and entertaining with them. I would recommend them to anyone around the area.
I am writing this Unilocal in defense of the daycare because I do not believe that a child would have been left in their pampers the whole day while in the hands of this staff. And if for some reason they did then I wouldn’t have waited a year to write a review. It is a shame that someone would say things like that if it isn’t true.
I have another child that will soon be old enough for daycare and I will not hesitate to sign them up here. :-)

I have two children My Daughter who is now 8 years old and my Son who is now 4. Both my children attend (ed) this school. I have always been very pleased with the Staff. My Daughter had attended this school since she was Three (3) and LOVED and still Loves Her teachers! When my Daughter graduated from this school and entered Kinder, the Director of the school she now attends was in shock at how much my daughter had already known due to what the preschool has taught her. My daughter went into Kinder already knowing most of what was to be taught to her. She is current the top in her class and I know MCFLP has a part of that because of the early investment they had in my daughter. I currently have my 4 yr old son at MCFLP and He learned how to spell his full name at the age of 3. My son was also potty Trained at home and at the school and I have NEVER had a problem with «soiled» diapers. So I was and am very disturbed to read comments that state otherwise. Sure my son has had «accidents» and the staff has ALWAYS changed my son in Dry Clothes. Bottom Line We love this school, the staff is great and dedicated My family has referred several children to this school and I will continue to refer to this school for the many years to come. We love Mrs. Pat, Mrs. Myrna, Mrs. Alburta, Mrs. Abligal. And ALL the other staff at this school!!!

I have a 13 year old, a 7 year olds and a 3 year old. My two older children have graduated from this preschool and are currently in honor classes. My 3 year old has been coming since he was 2 years old. He is being potty trained and when I pick him up not once have I found him soiled. My child is a drooler and when I pick him up his shirts are dry. The staff here is great. I am also a firm believer when it comes to them teaching about the Christian faith. I do and will continue to recommend this school to many others.

If your child is in pampers, think twice about sending your child here. I dropped my son off at 8am and picked him up at 6pm, and he was still in the same peepee pamper. I have different pampers at home than I did at the daycare. He was still wearing the same one and it was so saturated and he smelled like a men’s bathroom from the concentrated urine. I cried all night. I’ve hesitated to write this review since this was a year ago and they did sincerely apologize. I just cringe at the thought of it happening to someone else. When I would pick up my kids the young girls that are watching the kids are just sitting there, watching the clock it seemed like, not even entertaining them if it’s past 530pm. They are just waiting for parents to arrive, very sad. I don’t know if they changed staff or not. My kids were there 1 month and it was 1 month too long.
