Ps, I love how they have a tray of tootsie roll pops out on the front counter and all you see when you’re waiting to be called is a bunch of people eating lollipops.

Located on the freeway side of the mall, this is a great gem for the mall and the city. I’ve always loved their food, but the downfall of it being so good is the long wait. I was fortunate to dine by myself today and sat at the bar. No drink, but a quick lunch sized BBQ chicken salad. It took a bit of time before one of the bartenders addressed me. Because I knew what I wanted I ordered immediately. She was a little off, cause she had to reconfirm what I ordered. I was then offered a biscuit while I waited for my salad, and definitely did not decline. The biscuits here taste homemade with that awesome butter. My salad arrived fast! I still had 3 bites left of my biscuit. This is my go-to salad here, and I’ve been changing my meals to salads now. The only unfortunate for me is that they only out about 2oz of chicken meat. For a $ 10+ salad, I would hope for more protein. The size is definitely filling, so I can only wonder how much bigger the dinner salad is. But it is a great mix of veggies and they never smother the salad with dressing. They kept my water cup filled! Overall, great food and good service.

Haven’t eaten at Lucille’s before but first time visiting the West Covina mall location. Pretty good sized restaurant. Came around lunchtime on Saturday and wasn’t too packed. Seated pretty quickly. Always hard to choose what to eat when I come as everything just sounds and looks so good. Our party of five contemplated ordering one of the big family feasts, but we didn’t want to stuff ourselves, but those feasts are A LOT of food. I opted for the trio of sliders and tried one of each(chicken, pulled pork, and tri tip). All delicious. I love how they have the various bbq sauces on the table so you can choose which one of you want or try a little bit of each. Biscuits with the apple butter are always yummy too.

I’ve always loved Lucille’s but for some reason this particular branch didn’t deliver as much as the Rancho Cucamonga branch does. We had to wait an hour to be seated which could be understandable because we went at 7pm on a Valentine’s night but foodwise, the shortcomings are unforgivable especially because the other branch set our standards high. My boyfriend and I ordered the full rack baby back ribs and although the sauce was so on point, the doneness of the meat wasn’t as much. Some parts of it were burnt and dry. I have to commend Lucille’s, though, for always making sure that the seasonigs and bbq sauce on their meat are always done right wherever the branch may be. I also loved their complimentary hot biscuits with cinnamon butter on the side. The biscuits were hot, and airy and flaky on the outside. It felt like heaven in my mouth! But they failed in terms of cooking their meat the right way. Staff is friendly as always. I love that they’re always smiling and always willing and ready to help despite how busy they are. If only for their staff and their oh-so-heavenly biscuits, I’d have given them a 5.

I’ve been to many Lucille’s locations but this one is our go-to! Kelsey was our waitress and she was a delight! It’s nice to see a worker who knows the menu and can recommended new items. Not to mention, she was on top of refills and kept checking on us! My parents and I had a great dinner! Thanks for the wonderful service.

My friend recommended this place, so thought i’d give it a try even though another friend said Stonefire Grill in Pasadena was better. Well, here’s my take of it. Food: In terms of the BBQ portion of it. It was amazing! Very smoky and full of flavors with the smoke ring on them. Yummy! Trying varieties of all the BBQ, they were all to par, even the chicken was good and not dry at all which is a plus. So feel free to order happy on any type of bbq meat! Cant go wrong with anyone you order. For the side dishes, those were not at great as i thought it would be. We got bbq beans which weren’t bad in terms of flavors but way too sweet. We also got collard greens(again full of flavors) but way too salty! I mean, very salty!(minus 1-star) Service: Our server was new and was trying his best and had another server orienting him. So we had 2 servers. Sounds good enough for me! At the end of your meal, they serve each person a hot hand towel to clean your hands after eating your BBQ ribs etc barbarically. Ambiance: Dimmed with high ceilings and southern feel. Every table had a coat rack attached to the side which was cool. They had a BBQ smoker in the restaurant where I see the cooks or managers opening it ever so often to check on those yummy BBQ! Price: Very costly compared to some BBQ places. Definitely worth trying and visiting once in a blue moon but not on a regular basis unless you have too much money to throw around. They give descent portions. It also helped when we purchased a discount from Costco where you get $ 100 gift card for $ 75. $ 25 saved is another $ 25 I can use towards drinks at the bar next to me I couldn’t stop staring at.

Wow! Amazing! Best BBQ chicken ever! Meat was tender, juicy and delicious! I never had chicken that tasted so delicious like this one. The breast want even dry. It was moist and flavorful. I love the BBQ sauce that came with it. I ordered the half chicken with two sides. My two sides were mashed potatoes and Cole slaw(both amazing!) I finished everything on my plate. Portion size was good(I wish I had more lol). I was full but not stuffed. I can’t eat to try the tri tip next time. Food came out quickly. There was Three BBQ sauce options on our table. The biscuits provided came with Apple cinnamon butter! Unlimited and melted in my mouth. It was so delicious!!! Ahh… I wish I can go back for dinner: D thanks to my friend who introduced me to this place. Atmosphere noise was average, more like a family big party restaurant. It was definitely packed and I’m not surprised since the food and service was amazing! Waiter was great and always made sure we had our needs i don’t feel like the staff was too rushed or they were understaffed. I can’t wait to come back here: D sorry to say but this place is way better than STONEFIRE: B

We booked a reservation for my son’s 16th birthday. This location is real busy. Spinach dip was real good. Food was cooked very nicely. Our server Kayla worked real hard and constantly checked up on us, we greatly appreciated her efforts. We are definitely returning. The manager was very cool as well. Thank you guys for making my son’s birthday dinner special.

We came here for a birthday celebration and had a great time. We ordered some appetizers and those we good. everyone’s dinner plates came in a timely manner and where all hot. I had Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich — Two deep fried chicken breasts, applewood bacon, jack cheese, vine-ripened tomato and shredded lettuce with ranch dressing on a French roll. The service was friendly and a great place for large groups to celebrate and event.

There are so many highlights and so many disappointments! For the good, some of their food is delicious. I’m talking about the free biscuits with maple(?) butter, the cornbread, and many of their appetizers(that are not the sampler plate. That one’s a big pile of assorted disappointments). Oh, and their peach lemonade is fantastic. However, I don’t really find any of their meats amazing. The brisket was ridiculously dry and tough. The chicken and baby back ribs were alright. I think my favorite was the tri-tip, but even that was just slightly better than alright. The mac and cheese side looked really appealing but it wasn’t tasty at all. The inner cheese didn’t have much of a taste. Parking was pretty difficult and the average wait is pretty long. Though I see plenty of people ordering take out. Wouldn’t crave it, but I suppose there might be a time I’d be back.

Had an awesome server named Nikki. We decided to come here on the night of new years eve, which we did not expect the long wait time. Service here was perfect especually for a busy night. Nikki took our drink and appetizer order right after we sat down. She made great suggestions. Our orders came hot and Nikki greeted us again to ensure our satisfaction. Lucilles nachos: The server told us we could substitute it with fries! Eyes bulged out when we saw how beautiful the dish was and of course ask for extra japlpenos. Fried Shrimp: This was so good! This dish came with 6 pieces and was jumbo sized. I also ordered the baby back ribs nothing too special but I do love adding the spicy bbq sauce on it. chicken pasta was actually quite flavorful. The dish had just the right amount of creaminess and definitely hit the spot.

Lucille’s is in my top 5. I love this place! I always end up getting full from the strawberry or peach lemonade and the biscuits and apple butter. Beef ribs all day and I always switch up the sides; mac and cheese and baked beans, not to mention the fries are pretty darn good. During the weekend this place is a headache, but during the week you should be fine. If you like pickles then you must try the fried pickles! I promise you, you will leave with an entire meal to go. The portions here are huge! The service is decent, but definitely not impressive. I may have had one really good waiter and the rest were lacking in a few departments, but you can’t really blame them because this place is always crazy busy.

Hello my Unilocalies, Came here for the first time with the boyfriends family today. This is located right on the side of the West Covina mall. Parking was crazy, it was very packed since its after Christmas and everyone is all out to get their end of the year sale on. Took us about 20 minutes to find a parking space. We got in and asked for 6 people, they told us the wait will be 2 hours and 45 minutes long. OHMYGOD!!! Good thing my boyfriends bother asked about the bar and they told us for the bar seating its first come first serve so we rushed to the bar and luckily there were people finishing up their dinner, just enough space for the 6 of us.(very thankful for that) We were served by Stephanie, she was such a sweetheart, definitely made everything so easy and smooth. They gave each table complimentary biscuit, it is probably the best biscuit I’ve ever tried in my life. It has a hint of sweetness inside which adds a great taste into it. I order the Salmon Dinner which comes with veggies and rice but I was craving for some French fries so I substitute the rice with the French fries. The salmon was very delicious, perfectly seasoned, I like how it comes with a slice of lemon since I love my salmon sour. Unfortunately they have the thin cut fries which is not my favorite and it was a little too salty for my taste. My boyfriend order the tri tip, the meat was so tender, it melts in your mouth. You know some places their beef is so hard that you can’t even chew it but this place definitely wasn’t like that. We also order some baby back ribs, I personally don’t like ribs but this one falls off the bone right away, seasoned to perfection not too salty. One little thing is that this place is on the pricey side, everything is around $ 20 or more so definitely not an everyday place but I’ve got to say I’m very satisfied with my meal. Have to go to the gym tomorrow to burn off all of the calories. Overall 5 stars for service, 4 stars for food, 4 stars for environment and decorations and 5 stars for cleanliness. I may come back again in the near future definitely after getting my pay check! Haha!

I’m not a big BBQ person, but this makes me love BBQ. That fact alone impressed me hence the 5 stars. Delicious BBQ. Huge servings. You can definitely share. Love the biscuits and basically can’t go wrong with any of their meats. Ribs and Trip Tip are my faves. I highly suggest to come here for the BBQ. They have seafood, salads and burgers on the menu, but I can’t attest to how they taste. Great place to watch games. Big bar area. Huge place. Good happy hour. Servers are nice. Parking is tough as it shares it with the mall. Can get pretty loud, but definitely good for groups.

For a chain type BBQ joint, this place is pretty solid. What’s great about them is their very consistent customer service and people skills. Everyone in the restaurant greets you when you walk in and then when you leave, they thank you for coming. Never had to ask for a refill and they often offer to let you take one to go. Food is solid, although I think I’d stick to the«meat and potatoes» so to speak then venturing out last time with one of their salads. Even as such, the food has always been very tasty. Restaurant is always clean and the restrooms are immaculate. Way to go, Lucille’s!

We really like this branch of Lucille’s! We have been here more than twice now and we are happy that they are pet-friendly. Parking: I recommend stalking or keeping an eye out for patrons leaving the mall then I politely yell out of my car window if I can take their spot. Reservation is a must! So call ahead and make plans when you want to eat at this location. Besides, I hate waiting. Food: complimentary biscuits and apple butter spread is something I never get tired of. For couples, sharing the bbq platter is a better deal. I also recommend their fried okra and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Liquor: beers and margaritas. Get them! Prices: fair; the platter we shared was $ 23. It came with 2 sides and 2 types of meats. Employees: the best! Darrel is the man! Will we come back? Most definitely!

Lucille’s has long been one of my favorite Happy Hour locations. Unfortunately, recently my wife has not been such a big fan. I am a big fan of their Lucille’s Hef craft beer and their sausage appetizer. We usually get several appetizers so no reason for the wife not to like it [she is not a sausage fan]. I recently visited another Lucille’s and ordered the burnt ends but I was not happy with them. I thought they were very very fatty. Since I had been to many Lucille’s and had never had a problem I decided to try them again and so I came to this new Lucilles near my home and they did an awesome job. My daughter and I decided to share the BBQ chicken, burnt ends & the sausage. It was very good and the burnt ends were everything we remembered. They were very meaty and had plenty of char to give them that perfect taste. Told them that it was my mom’s birthday [because it was] and they brought her a little chocolate brownie/ice cream thing so we could sing Happy Birthday. The waitress also kept the beer glass and other drinks full and fresh. The patio was covered to keep the air on during this heat wave and this place was jammed pack so we sat in the bar. I prefer the bar anyways. I would recommend this place anytime but my favorite is Happy Hour, which is everyday after 9PM.

Lucille’s in 626!!! Big location, ton of tables. Service was really good. BBQ just as good as Brea. BISCUITSANDAPPLEBUTTER! NOMS! BBQ Two Meat Combo w/Loaded Potato — $ 29.99 + $ 1.49 — I got beef ribs and baby backs. You get 3 beef ribs and 6 baby back bones. I was really surprised you get that much. Mac and cheese and loaded potato is always bomb. Usually don’t charge for the loaded potato but oh well, I was happy and full. Brisket Burnt Ends — 13.49 — The meat lacked flavor, especially for burnt ends. The sauce was the only taste it had. Some meat was tender, other was dry. TIP, get your order dry if you do not like your ribs saucy and want to control the amount. They have a payment screen at each table now. Fancy tech! Great and closer Lucille’s location!

Wow this West Covina location is pretty pack! We asked for a table of 7 and they said it would be about a 45 minute wait. This was during the lunch time so we ended up sitting at the bar since they did have seats. The ladies at the bar were also pretty busy with people ordering alcohol and also having to take our meal. But when the food finally arrived it actually was pretty good. They also give you this interesting type of bread and some sort of what looks like cinnamon butter. Overall even though we had to wait for awhile the food was good and I enjoyed the company with our friends. Maybe they should have more staff on deck for days since it really did seem sort or understaffed. I don’t normally eat BBQ but I wouldn’t mind coming back to this place, maybe when they aren’t so busy but yes. It was bomb!
