One of my go to panaderias where I know I will always find fresh bolillos and pan dulce. I am always here early in the morning and everything is fresh out of the oven and warm. All their pan dulce is delicious, their tamales are great, my favorite are the cheese tamales and they have delicious champurrado, coffee, and café de la Olla that will pair perfectly with your pan dulce or tamales. The service is great and even at 5:00 in the morning your are greeted with a friendly smile, especially the older lady that work the counter, she is exceptionally nice.

Every year we buy tamales from this place… they have always been very good plenty of meat… just the right amount of masa… I don’t know what happened this year… almost no meat and all masa. Still good tasting but no meat. I will let the owner know. I Would Definitely Look For Another Place For tamales. Employees are very nice. And helpful.

The bread, jellos and bollios rellenos are decent. But the tamales are nasty!!! They are almost $ 2 a piece and are not good. They have more masa than meet and are tiny. I really expected something better because the restaurant is good but the bakery isn’t and as I left I saw they have a B!

Horrible bakery… Seriously I think anyone who is writing a good review must be related to these useless people. First off I came in to order a gender reveal cake and was told it wasn’t a problem. I made it clear that we needed pink on the inside so our family would be surprised were having a girl. They took the order and made the notes cleAr on the order form. To our surprise when we cut into the cake it was all white!!! When we went to ask what happened the bakery said«he didn’t know how to do it» I’m no genius or anything but I can’t believe putting food coloring is too difficult. Instead I call the owner Josephina who said they should have called to tell me they couldn’t do it(no shit) instead they made it and made us look stupid in front of our family. To make it worse she promised a credit towards a new cake then when I called two weeks later she changed her mind and said I can have it 50% off! Seriously these ppl are useless. I told her Nevermind. I don’t need her shitty nasty cakes and she is obviously very desperate for money. And then to top it all off the filling on the inside tasted old and gross! And the cake was crooked lol Seriously beware of this bakery, they are cheap and hard up for money and their cakes look like crap. They deserve 0 stars and they ruined a very exciting moment for my husband and I

I have been going to this place for years for my birthday cakes. They have really good tres leches cakes(especially with the fresh strawberry filling). I have to say that the custom ordered cakes taste better to me than the ones that you can buy on the spot, maybe because the custom ones I have gotten were made the same day as when I picked them up. They only use whipped cream for their frosting which tastes really good but this year the cake I wanted requires fondant so I am alittle disappointed about that, so that is why I don’t give it a 5 star.

My new cake place in LP. I don’t speak much spanish but the little cute ol’ lady who took my order understood my spanglish enough to get my order correct. After we tried a cake fm here at a party the previous week we ordered a 10 inch cookies’n’cream w/chocolate bread. Let me tell you, Baskin Robbins is good, but this place is equally as yummy, I think better especially for the price. Per my daughters request we added the Smurfs decorations and the bill came out to about $ 40ish. I have yet to try their pan or tamales but I will def be back to order my future cakes from here.

Horrible service. Very rude, and there was several hairs in my tamales and they tried to argue with me about it when I returned them instead of refunding me my money. Filthy ass place

Decent Panaderias(Spanish Bakeries) are few and far between. If you are looking for a good panaderia — visit la Poblana Bakery. The pan dulce/sweet bread is really good and the place is clean. Follow this order and you will be fine: 1) pick up a plastic tray to place the bread, 2) pick up a pair of tongs and the rest is up to you. I like coming here on saturday morning, ordering a large Champurrado(warm and very thick mexican drink), and having a fresh baked bread. The Champurrado is delicious and not too sweet. I love both the selection of bread and cost per piece. I recommend the cuernitos, bolillos and conchas. Do not mind all the people people sitting outside, reading their paper and having their morning coffee.

Actually, they are a bakery too. They provide the once a week Mexican pan dulce that Queen of the Valley has in the cafeteria. The pan dulce goes fast when it arrives there. The elotes and the ones that are similar to elotes(but curved) are popular. I’ve gone there a few times to buy sweet bread too. The only bad thing is that they charge you extra for a box if you want your bread not to be mushed up in a paper bag. The box is sturdy and costs $ 1.00 extra. That is pretty weird, since most bakeries/donut shops will box up stuff for free. Other than that, it doesn’t compare to El Gallo, my utmost favorite, in East LA, but it will do for your pan dulce craving.

Great tamales, good service, awesome bolillos. They have a little bit of everything here, prices are pretty reasonable.
