I’m usually very hesitant about people cutting my bangs, but Josie did a wonderful job. I’m in love with them! The last time I came to her, she fixed my dreadful orange bleached hair to a beautiful silver grey color. She’s the best: D

Sarah is my girl, I’ve been going to her for some years now and she brought my hair back to life! Literally. It has never been this long or healthy before. She will Forever be the only one to touch my hair.

I highly recommend Sara for up-dos. She had my hair ready in less than 45 minutes. My hair looked amazing for a wedding. Friendly, skilled staff. Ample parking in lot.

Mistica is ahhhmazing!!! She is a beautiful person inside & out. Her passion for her career is evident in her work. My satisfaction was her top priority. She guided me through every step of the process & even educated me about hair cutting & color levels. I’m beyond ecstatic over my cut, color, & style! She cut about 6 inches(at my request) & did an ombré balayage. Love, love, LOVE it!!!

LOVETHISPLACE! It’s a bit expensive for my standards, but DEFINITELY worth every penny. Arlene is my go to girl everytime! I tell her exactly what I want and she makes the vision I have in my head a reality! I walk out of that salon extremely happy every time, excited to show off my new hair to all my friends. Highly highly recommend!

I came in hoping to get a haircut and an ombré color. This was unfortunately not the case. I called in with an appointment and and estimated price of $ 110 and up depending on the length and thickness of ones hair. So, eventually when I walked into the salon and was seen by Sarah D. I know for a fact that I do have a lot of hair that is pretty long, but she told me the whole hairstyle and hair cut would cost around $ 210. I was surprised by the steep increase in prices. I was hoping for a hair do that would be around $ 150 because I understand my hair is a lot, but for a run down location like this it was not worth it. I could get my hair done at a high end location for theprice of $ 210. So, instead I visited Positive Image Salon where I requested for the same service for the price of $ 145. GOTOPOSITIVEIMAGE. it’s literally a few stores down next to seafood city

Walked in after a recommendation from a friend who was extremely pleased with her haircut a few weeks ago. I was greeted and seated immediately by Arlene. I’m pretty sure I mumbled a bunch of gibberish because as much as I think I know what I want going into a salon, the hairdresser seems to always fall short. But not Arlene! She understood that I wanted to keep my length and was honest about what my last stylist did wrong. What I really appreciated was that she consulted with me before going shorter. If you’re choosing between here and Medy’s next door, I recommend this place. Medy’s is always so crowded and pushing you to do more so you can pay more.

I booked an appointment with Sara for my prom hair– I had a half up half down in mind. She glanced quickly at two reference pictures, and did exactly what I asked for and more! All in under an hour! I had such an amazing experience, very friendly stylists and my hair stayed up for about 20 hours. It’s was a bit of a lengthy drive but it was definitely worth it, and I’ll be coming back for all of my other special occasion needs.

worst place ever. the girl that did my hair(I forgot her name but she was pretty new) promised that my hair will turn out ash brown. She gave me a balayage ombré with bleaching. When it was done, it ended up being STRAIGHTUPORANGE. So she said she’ll fix my hair another time. Note, I paid $ 160 for the first session already. When i came for the 2nd session, she charged me another $ 100 and all she did was tone my hair… it literally went back to orange in a week. Plus, she did NOT tell me that I had to pay again, which was not expected because she did fuck up my hair the first time. Basically, I spent almost $ 300 for an orange head. DONOTCOMEHERE.

Today was my second time In this beauty salon & I can honestly say BOTH times I was EXTREMELY satisfied. ARLENEGARCIA was my stylist both today & the first time I decided to go. I was extremely indecisive as to what I wanted to do with my hair, because I had virgin hair. But Arlene, gave me suggestions the whole way through the process, she made sure I was okay, she constantly checked the color to make sure it was looking good. Overall extremely satisfied ! I absolutely recommend Arlene Garcia. I will continue to style my hair there. Thank you ARLENE

Came here with a just a vague idea that I wanted a reverse ombré, light brown roots with darker ends. I had sarah, here’s the positive: I think she’d kill on ombré! Negative: I didn’t want ombré, or blonde. My hair came out wayyyy lighter than expected. It was really cute the first day she did it, but once I showered some of the color washed out. Overall not a bad dye, just not worth $ 130+ tip.

Yesterday, I had an appointment to get my hair cut and recolored(ombré and balayage) by Sarah. I decided to come here because a friend of mine has amazing hair color, and she told me where to find this magical place, and I’m so glad I came! The place isn’t too difficult to find(it’s behind the Carl’s, Jr.), and it has a really relaxing atmosphere. Sarah was awesome! She was sweet, and she really knows her craft. I showed her a pictures of how I wanted my bangs to look, and I asked her to color my hair based on what she thought would look best with my natural hair color, and she exceeded all of my expectations! My hair had a lot of split ends, and it had watered-down color from a few years ago, so it desperately needed a change. Sarah was able to remove all the split ends while still keeping the length, and she made my hair look fuller and much healthier than it looked before. The color was also much more natural than what I first arrived with, and it’s subtlety is what I walked away loving the most! She was also super patient with me because I kept falling asleep(must have been an off-day!), but she was very charming. Concerning cost: it will vary depending on your hair and what you want done, but I found it incredibly reasonable. I was afraid I would pay $ 200+ for cut AND color, but I left paying much less than that amount. If you’re curious, give this salon a call and ask for a quote! Sarah quoted me in advance, and it was actually less than what she initially told me. I will definitely be back! Thanks, Sarah!

Came here two yrs ago and the girl that cut my hair had imo style green/purple hair with one side longer than the other, came out from salon with my hair super thin like rat. Came back again yesterday, shes not bad, Gina, but i feel not fully satisfied. She doesnt explain what shes gonna do, i feel she doesnt really cut my hair but charge full price, didnt washed it, and at the end asking if i wanted to be curl. If thats the standardized service; hair wash, cut, blowdry n curl why dont u do the same to everyone? This is the first salon that didnt shampoo hair before cut. Maybe theres a reason behind it so please explain to customer so they would understand instead assuming its just shortcut Today im back to my regular stylist to get it fixed and happy with it. Been to Juan Juan Brentwood for years and always satisfied its just the driving distance is too much.

Gina did my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she almost matched it. I got my base and highlights done and it came out beautiful! She just suggested to get balayage highlights when I get my touch up. I’m excited! Very happy about the results. The place is clean and bright. I would recommend

I’m extremely picky with my hair stylists. My old one does things a bit traditional/old school so I thought maybe I should try something different. My sister convinced me to try out this salon and showed me their reviews on Unilocal.I was drawn to the high ratings and good reviews so I made an appointment with Sarah. All I wanted was a trim and to keep the length on my hair. I got there a bit early and walked in. It was my first time so I had no idea who would be doing my hair. I ask for Sarah and she gave me a blank stare. No welcome or anything. She was dying another client’s hair so I knew she couldn’t take me in early which was totally fine had she just tell me to come back in whatever amount of time she needed. I immediately felt uncomfortable so I waited in the car instead. After waiting half an hour Sarah comes out and waves to me to come in. She asks me what a want. I say a trim, a few layers, and to keep it long. She wasn’t friendly at all! Her eyes were fixated on the tv(I saw her multiple times staring at the tv from my mirror view) and was more interested in Harry Potter than conversing or paying attention to her client. 10 minutes of cutting and she’s done! What??? It took her longer to curl my hair than to actually cut it. Same with my sister. We were both out of the salon in less than an hour. And the cost? $ 40!!! She didn’t even shampoo my hair or anything. Literally had an inch if not less of hair trimmed. Total rip off! Definitely not worth it. I was probably in a good mood that day because I not only tipped her but didn’t have the nerve to say anything. I will certainly not return(and convince my sister not to either)

I’ve been searching years and years for a great salon like this. I recently got a balayage ombré done by Jeaneth and I am in love! I’m always stuck between dark hair and light hair because all the hairstylists I’ve had can never cancel out the orange tone in my hair without killing it and what do you know? I have a healthy ash toned ombré now. I don’t plan on going back to dark at all, I’ve never been so in love with my hair! it’s been weeks and I’m still getting compliments on my hair, thank you so much! I’ll be recommending this salon to everyone I know & I’ll definitely be back soon!
