When my kids were young, I used to always bring them here when we’d visit the moll. Always loved their hot dog on a stick, never liked paying so much for one stinky hot-dog. But, oh well… kids love it, and it taste great. Last time I visited them with my niece, there was only one employee. Where the heck is everyone? I’ve always seen at least 3. She was really nice, working hard, and I wanted to leave her a tip. But, to my surprise, they did not have a tip jar. And unfortunately, because she was alone, she was doing it all. BUT one person shouldn’t have to cook and clean the place.

I come here a lot but have never written a review so here it goes. This place is really delicious and the service is always friendly. Lately the servings have been getting smaller but considering the price and the fewer pieces that I don’t get, it’s still a pretty bomb place to eat(bang for the buck). If you are craving funnel cakes but don’t want to pay outrageous prices at fairs and etc, they got you covered.(Plus it’s in stick form so no messy craziness). I have to say though, I felt like this employee deserves praise. Arturo, who was working tonight, has the patience and kindness that many employees lack. The customer in front of me was ridiculously rude and demanding but he remained his composure which took a lot more than what I could of dealt with. Although the line was held up, the other customers behind me and I were patient and willing to wait cause we knew that it was not his fault. I believe he deserves props for the crap he had to deal with tonight.

If I’m at the mall and I need a quick bite or am feeling parched, I ALWAYS think about this place first! Cherry lemonade and Nathan’s corn dogs are top notch. Definitely the best of the best of mall grub.

This place has great tasting food. The corn dogs are always cooked to par. They are great when you get hungry from walking the mall.

Just went there last night and the guy working there, Jesse, was really nice and great! We chatted for a bit and the food was great! I must say, each hot dog on a stick I’ve been to has had some great staff and great customer service. Last night I used their card to just get a hot dog on a stick and a sample and he was fine with it. They have frequent visit cards and they also offer samples. You just have to ask. Never had a problem with the samples. :) I must say, Jesse, was a little enthusiastic about his job, which is great for any business owner! Props to him. If you’re looking for a corn dog, this is the place to go. The only other place I would personally go to is the corn dog stand at Disneyland! They are way bigger and definitely pricier. Didn’t have the lemonade this time, but that stuff is good too! Until next time…

my bf and i stopped off here for a quick snack. two hot dog on a sticks and a lemonade to share. took my first bite and knew it was off. my bf took his first bite and went back to the store. apparently, they switched from all beef hot dogs to turkey hot dogs. yes, they now serve bland turkey hot dogs that taste like crap. luckily they haven’t changed the lemonade yet.

When ever I get a craving for a corn dog. Where do you go? Except, where ELSEWOULDYOUGO, except for Hot Dog On A Stick! Yayyy! This place has actually been a staple of my childhood. I remember being served my first Hot Dog On A stick when I was seven, being dragged around by my mom as she was doing her Sunday afternoon shopping. They didn’t have the luxury of those leash thingies they use today, but boy did that Hot Dog on a stick sure sooth my nerves after a long day of dealing with being stuck in women’s apparel sections all day. I’m not sure if they used a turkey dog then or just changed it to now but all I know is it still tasted just the same as it did when I was seven, crisp and moist dog on the inside, just the right amount of squishy to crunchy ratio from the batter on the out. Mmmmhhhmmm… Perfection on a stick. Definitely a once a month indulgence, twice if I’m feeling a little naughty.

6.13.08: I was never too fond of hot dog on a stick cause of the thick ass batter. The free one I got that day was A-Ok. To me it was burnt. But what I did like was their lemonade. O my. it was so cool and refreshing. Its almost as if one sip a blast of Cold Air swish by me. OooOOo… ha ha. I use to sit there and look at the workers go up and down on the pumps but hey don’t do that no more. So there’s nothing entertaining like it use to be. O well guess I’ll just have lemonade here only!

I may have had the hot dog once, but the Lemonade here is the big draw. That and watching the poor girl dressed up like a rainbow clown with a mini brimmed hat pumping away up and down with a stick squashing lemons. Go here, get a lemonade, they even got a limeade now, then point and laugh at the girl with the worst job in the world. It makes my sunday afternoon!
