My review is based on their customer service. I was placed on hold to where the girl at the cashier put the phone down on the counter. She took 2 peoples order while I was on hold. She was carrying on a Convo the one person. By the time she picked up the phone I ended up hanging up since I pulled into the parking lot and there was no point to order while sitting in my car. This isn’t the first time. Normally there is a Asian girl who is always on it and I never have issues when she is working. Then a customer came in after and since she was too busy still chatting they had to wait until she was done with her convo then she took their order. After they gave me the food she didn’t offer to give me condiments. She gave the food and just walked away. I had to serve my self for the secret sauce and napkins etc

My kids like to come here for the mini bowls, it is the perfect size for anyone who cant eat too much. They have a special which has a mini chicken bowl with a fountain drink for $ 6. It clean and the staff seem nice and the wait isn’t too long for you to get your food.

I come here often. Well maybe less than before.
Though she isn’t here today there’s a girl who usually works the register with red lipstick.
She’s very rude.
The food is good. Nice prices. Good music playing inside. Located inside of a cute little shopping center with a small parking lot.
They have 3 designated parking spaces just for take out for flame broiler.
Very clean and organized.
Simple easy to read menus and I love that they have all the sauces available for you and don’t charge extra.
My receipt from today said Tom was my server.
He was very friendly and nice.
I’m going to change my 3 star rating to a 4 because he made me feel a little better about this place.
But when I see that rude little girl I walk right back out.

This flame broiler location is definitely the best one! Excellent service from the cashier, Marlon. helped me decide what I wanted. He recommend the works bowl. Love the white meat chicken !! A delicious meal I know that won’t fail my taste buds.

This particular Flamebroiler, is my favorite location out of all Flamebroiler franchises. Ive been to the brea, walnut, glendale locations, and this location makes it seem like a whole different restaurant, in a good way. Something about the way they grill their chicken, the freshness of the food, and the way they make it the way you order it, make it outstanding. The owner cares about the quality of food, and customer service provided. If I dont eat Flamebroiler here, I wont eat it anywhere else they’re that good.
Btw they have the hot hot green sauce in pourable bottles. Big plus in my book.

Healthy, fast & affordable food for anyone that’s in a rush and watching their diet. I’m fond of their chicken bowl with brown rice, I like adding their teriyaki and hot sauce to the mix.
If I had to compare Flame Broiler to Waba Grill… customer service is somewhat better here. Both menus are still healthy and affordable, can’t complain.

Nice guy at the front register I believe his name was Tom. I was having trouble with my ATM card and didn’t have the right cash and he totally let me use a coupon. Being a nice and helpfully goes a long way. Thanks Tom

I don’t normally write reviews, but I just believe this deserves some recognition. I work for a company near by the location that orders from here and I order from here quite often personally as well– Tuesday my work had ordered a semi– large order, over the phone for pick-​up. The gentlemen that took the order over the phone was very helpful and friendly. We picked up the order within fifteen minutes. Everything was neatly packed and ready to go– I’m assuming by the same gentlemen I spoke to on the phone. Not to mention the food tasted great, as usual. Thank you to the gentlemen that took our order and I hope you get the recognition you deserve for doing such a great job.

Supervisor was very rude. Got a text offering $ 1.00 off a regular bowl and was not accepted at this location. The text does not clarify what locations. He also, has a special 5.00 off 25 but has to charge you regular price. Never, Never coming back.

This is one of my favorite spots… I really enjoy that Magic Sauce. The food is cooked fresh to order and its very healthy for you. If you are on your lunch break or have a time restraint, it would be best to place a Phone Order. The chicken bowl with a drink combo is such a great deal and so much better than greasy fat food from a burger joint.
*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
*This place is a must if you work in area
*I always come when I am waiting on my car to get serviced at nearby dealership.

Worst and disgusting meal at this Flame Broiler. Ordered the works combo plate with drink and a chicken bowl. While my wife was eating the combo plate, she started screaming as the Orange was all molded (see picture), as she already ate several pieces of meat on top of the Orange. in addition, the chopped carrot look all dried out. Seems like they decided to serve ingredients that are super old. God forbid if she gets sick from eating the molded food. When I brought it back for refund, the manager decided to only refund me the money for the plate, and nothing else. Do not eat at this restaurant! Thinking maybe I should report to the agency. Don’t want more people to get sick.

This flame broiler is good. The rib plate is very good and not as fatty and salty as other similar restaurants. Should have been a four star but the staff asked for it to be «take out» or «dining in» but she then says, you can’t dine in due to proximity to closing time. I guess that it was a long day and they wanted to get home. However, it knocked down a star on my book! I will still go by but just get there way before closing :)

I Love this place really good food. My fave is chicken bowl with the magic sauce. Plus the register guy brought are food out to us. Such a sweet guy service was outstanding. If you want a more healthy bowl i recommend the brown rice husband gets that all the time.

I dont think I have ever been to any Flame Broiler that was not good!
My favorite food they serve is the chicken salad.
Now keep in mind, you have to be specific and say you wanna salad, and they serve up the cabbage and chicken so nicely.
Ive been to a few places that change up the salad, or toss the dressing and its all good.
I recommend the new location in Montebello, theyre salad is the bomb. They toss the salad & theres oranges n other stuff that take it over the top!

Tried this place a few days after trying WaBa Grill down the street.
This place wins, and gets an extra star for one reason and one reason only.
It doesn’t cost extra to swap out white rice for brown rice.
+1 for promoting health at no extra cost.
Other than that, it’s a pretty typical teriyaki joint. My review ends here.

First off, the address should actually list the place in West Covina, not Covina.
Having never been to this chain, or any like it, my mind was an open slate. Except for the fact that when it first opened, I used to eat at the outside tables at Jersey Mike’s next door. And every time Flame Broiler’s front door opened, it smelled like burning hair. I got over that.
The lady at the counter was very friendly and was helpful when asked about the menu options. I had the basic chicken bowl with no veggies. The food was good, not earth shattering. It was much better with extra «magic sauce» (read teriyaki sauce), which they offer along with hot sauce. Truthfully, I would never make a special effort to come back.
This location is brand new, so it was very clean. I don’t really have anything snarky to say about this place, so I’ll just end the review now.
