Decided to come here because I was craving something sweet. The business says it closes at 9pm and I arrived close to 8pm. The door was open, yet no one in sight. Someone finally comes from Tacos Al Vapor(taco place next door) and tells us it’s closed. I asked, «why do the hours say 8am-9pm?» and she simply said, «Because it’s really slow right now and the owners told me to close early». I can understand that but it sounds like a constant thing when it comes to this bad customer service. I would look elsewhere.

Sunday. Pretty slow in here, but it took no less then 20minutes to get 2 small bionicos. The cream topping is not as sweet as I’m use too, didn’t care for it. The wait was irritating because she was talking so much to another male patron that it held up our order. She should of asked for help from the girl in the back. I was trying to find some bionicos closer, but I guess I’ll have to stick with Zappopan

This place only has one person working and customers order multiple drinks. The service was horrible. I went in at a busy time and the employee asked me if I was ordering something easy because she already had a lot of orders. I ordered a chamango, and it did not have any pieces of fruit in it. It was a blended slushy. They probably did blend a few pieces of mango in it, but it tasted like mango syrup and chili. Not what I expected! In addition, they are overpriced $ 12 for 2 chamangos. I’m giving it 2 stars for their generous servings.

First time trying a bionics and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a small, it came with banana, strawberry, apple, papaya and I requested pineapple which the girl was happy to do. Boy was this fruit salad delicious! The place was clean, the service was good and I’d definitely return. The only 2 things I’d do differently is request less cream on the salad and ask for cold fruit(it was room temp) Other than that, everything was great!

The reason I gave it 2 stars & not 1 is because the lady who works there was super nice & friendly. But any who… I went in trying to get a diablito because I pass by this place everyday & quite honestly I didn’t feel like driving all the way to my favorite spot called Big Ice in Baldwin Park. The customer in front of me got this blended drink that apparently was the diablito. I’ve had diablitos from a million places before & this was definitely not one. It didn’t even look good to be honest. Any real Mexican would have laughed at the sight of their«diablitos.» So I played it safe and got a small raspado de tamarindo. I thought to myself like how can you mess up a raspado? Well it was messed up. It was soooooo sweet I literally couldn’t even finish half of it! And I got a small! My boyfriend got a small pico de gallo which tasted fine considering it’s just fruit. If they woulda messed that up I seriously would have walked out. & we both got small sizes and it still came out to $ 10. Other places give you bigger sizes that taste good for less money. Definitely will not be back.

I used to live down the street and didn’t even know this place existed! Located in the same little plaza as 7 – 11 and a couple other stores in the middle. My boyfriend stopped by to get slurpies until I noticed the sign and wanted to check it out. I’m so glad I did because I’ll definitely enjoyed it! I got a medium bionico. It had a bunch of fruits w/cream and granola topped with raisins and coconut shreds. It was definitely refreshing(especially on a hot summer afternoon like today!) Unlike some bionicos I’ve tried, their cream wasn’t too thick and wasn’t too sweet, just the perfect ‘creaminess’ where it didn’t overpower the fruits. I liked how I can still taste the fruits without the over-sweetness of the cream! They give you a good amount of fruit(fresh!) too, they definitely weren’t holding out. The medium was about $ 7 and it was enough for my boyfriend and I to share. There’s only one lady that was working when I came in and a family was before me. Waited a few minutes since she was the only one working, but she was super nice and told me that it’ll only take a couple more minutes. They only had two tables in the front, but I think people usually just get their orders to-go. The area, although pretty small, was clean and tidy. Will be back!

I try this place for the first time yesterday I got the fruit natural… the fruit was really good EXCEPT the for service. The girl that help me Isabella seems like she is very Annoy when I ask for more chills and Lime. She keep sayin…“is hot, is hot” and I kept telling her«Is okay, I like it hot» She gave me the most disgusting look. Than she put 2 lime in it and I ask for one more ime. SHEROLLHEREYESATME! Another worker came in and they were talking… I guess Isabella just assume I don understand spanish, she was just talking crap about me wanting more chills and lime infront of her co-worker…inside of me I am telling myself«Don’t ever come back here again and make sure you let everyone know» So if you are the ower of this place and you are reading this review. You NEEDYOHAVE A CONVERSATIONWITHTHISWORKER!

I go bananas over bionico!!! B-a-n-a-n-a-s! Been coming to this place since high-school. Very hole-in-the wall kind of place. This was the first place I ever tried Bionicos. What are bionicos? The most delicious refreshing Mexican fruit salad you will ever have in your life. My sister would always bring it after school and I would savor the juiciness and sweetness of the sauce. I’m a fruit person, so eating these are always heaven to me. Anyways, we usually get the medium bionico con crema. We asked the lady what was in the sauce and she said«It’s a secret.» Hehe. What a nice and funny lady. Any who some of them come with papaya, which to me tastes like bad breathe. So I usually leave that on the side. I love how the granola perfectly crunches with the secret sauce and the juiciness of the fruits. Yummy. Medium is a perfect size to share with 2 people. Not sure how healthy this dessert/snack is, but I’d like to think I’m cutting down on calories with the fruit and all. The inside is very clean and has great ventilation. Most bionico places I go to are usually hot and smell funky, but this one is the best one so far. They also have unique smoothies with chilli.

I haven’t been here in years! This was the spot to go on hot days during lunch back in the high school days! We ordered the usual — a medium sized bionico con crema. When asked what the cream was, the lady told us «it’s a secret» haha. Still tastes just like the good old high school years. Although the prices have gone up a little… you still get a big bowl of fruit. I’ll ask for extra granola next time.

We actually found this place by accident when we were driving around looking to buy the Lotto once day. Decided to try their mango diabilito cuz I wanted that candy straw. lol It’s pretty spicy. but still really refreshing. The fruit tasted super fresh. My friend also got their bionico which looked amazing as well.

Buka Fruit is located in the parking lot of 7 Eleven, just a couple of doors down from El Bukanas Mexican Food. They sell: Bionicos, Liquados, Fruit, Smoothies, Raspados, and more. I always come for their Limon Agua. I love it. I just have this thing for Lemonade or anything Lemon or Lime. This drink always hits the spot. Their Chamangos/Sweet&Spicy Smoothies are not good at all. If you want a good one, go to Jugos Y Bionicos Zapopan instead.

I had a bionico(fruit topped with cream, granola, coconut, and raisins) a few weeks ago at a party and I fell in love. Today I stopped at Bukafrut and got a bionico and was not happy. Instead of cream I think I was given yogurt(which I hate). I ordered the non-yogurt one. I think I will call my friend and ask them where they bought it because this one was not good at all. My dad had a diablito and it was not mixed at all. All the chile was on the bottom and it wasn’t sweet at all. I don’t think we wiill be returning. Sorry Guys
