If I could give this place a negative I would.
when I walked in the office the assistants were not all that friendly.
I had to pay $ 20 for a consultation which was hardly even a consultation. I had many questions and I was very nervous because it was my first time getting laser hair removal but they did not at all put me at any ease. All the doctor told me is that if he could reconstruct genital areas then he could do this. But I wanted to know how the procedure works, what the laser actually does, what kind of laser is being used, since it was my first time I wanted to know everything but they hardly told me anything!
I was so anxious to get my laser done that I just did it then and there. They charged me $ 240 UP FRONT before I even got into the laser removal room.
the doctor hardly even looked at my area to know how high he should go with the laser. He preset the machine and left and let the assistant laser me.
As she was lasering me it was excruciating pain! I can take pain very well because I have had passed surgeries done to me and a car accident that ruptured everything and I was still conscious to feel every pain. Anyways, this pain was bad. So bad that I even had to take breaks throughout the session. The assistant just kept saying that because it’s my first time I will be pain but this pain was BAD! They didn’t even give me numbing cream or lowered the intensity for me because the assistant didn’t even know how to work the damn machine. I had a bag of ice to soothe the pain.
When everything was all done I was in so much pain I felt like I could pass out. When I left I had to stay in my car for almost 45 min because I couldn’t move! Then when I got home I was in bed for a couple of hours with a pack of ice at my area and Tylenol in my system.
Weeks went by and I had blisters and scabbing ALL OVER MY REGION! When I told the assistant she kept insisting that it’s normal because it’s my first time, but this was WEEKS after my procedure and it hurt when I walked or went to the restroom.
When I made my appointment 3 weeks ahead of time and called the day of my appointment they assistant said that I’m not scheduled and that I would have to come a week later. WTF.
So I went to a new doctor and he saw what happened to me and was appalled at what he saw. The laser I had done before completely burnt me and scared the whole region! Now it’s darker than my actual skin tone. This place SCARRED MY WHOLE REGION!!! DO NOT GO HERE. My skin tone is of Asian decent. Olive and tan. The new I place I go to now gave me numbing cream and the DOCTOR did the procedure so he knew when to lower it or make the intensity higher for me. I felt NO PAIN!!!
all in all do not ever go here. It’s dangerous and unprofessional. If I could I was for a law suit against this place. There is permanent scarring. Thanks a lot. I HATE this place.
