Waffle House

Very good Waffle House. The restaurant was clean and the food tasted fresh. Actually everything was made before my very eyes!

I have to praise this Waffle House for being open on Christmas night; although I feel sorry for those that were working that night instead of spending time with their family. We were driving back home from visiting relatives in Atlanta and there was nothing open on our way home until pulled through West Columbia about 10pm connecting from I-​20 to I-​26 when we saw the big bright yellow neon glow of the Waffle House sign. We immediately pulled in to grab some grub.
We were greeted at the door by a very polite waitress who welcomed us in and greeted right away by another cheerful waitress that took great care of us and made sure to fill our hunger.
The food is pretty standard of what you would find at a Waffle House; really only good if you had a few drinks or like us it was your only option. We were so thankful that they were open and servicing food that night that we actually enjoyed the food and service on this evening.
