I love going to Harts! They always treat me with respect. Also every worker he has there have always been polite and used their manners. They are defiantly what I consider a mom and pop shop that stay true to their morals.

These people here are liars! I took my car in and got it diagnosed. The owner, Scott, told me that it would cost $ 35 to put it on a machine and check out the problem but if I get my car fixed in his shop then the fee to diagnose it would come off of the price of the repair. So I decided to go ahead and do it. They diagnosed my car on a Friday evening and told me that the part would be $ 50(a coil pack) and the labor $ 30 which equals $ 80. Since it was so late in the evening they said they wouldn’t get to my car that day so we agreed to bring it back on the following Monday. Scott gave me a receipt for the $ 35 diagnostic fee that I paid and told me to bring it in so he can subtract it from my bill. I took the car on Monday morning and it sat there for two days before they even touched it. Finally on Wednesday the mechanic, Richard, calls me and gives me a $ 725 quote to do more work on my car that he felt he needed done. I told him no to just fix what I took it up there for and that’s it. He then tells me he would call me when my car is ready. Wednesday goes by and no call. Thursday goes by and still no call so I call them to find out what’s the hold up. They told me my car is ready but it’s not running. I told them I would be there to get it Friday because it was late and I was on my way to work. On Friday when I get there I was told that my bill was $ 128.64. Ok this is higher than they quoted me but that’s fine. I then proceeded to give them my receipt for the $ 35 diagnostic fee that I paid so they can subtract it from my bill and I was told that they didn’t charge me a second time for a diagnostic fee so there was nothing to subtract. By this time I was highly upset. First they charged me more than my quote then they went back on their promise to subtract the diagnostic fee from the price. Then I started to question about the quote which was $ 50 for the part and $ 30 for labor and Richard told me that he told me $ 50ish for the part and he got upset and went to the back of the shop. Another guy followed him to the back I guess to get their story together. While they were back there I looked at the ticket and they charged $ 48 for the part(which means this is not why the final price went up so much) and $ 64 for labor and a couple other small fees which I’m not too worried about. The other guy that went in the back with Richard came back to speak up for Richard and explained to me that the reason I wasn’t getting the diagnostic fee subtracted from my bill was because my car wasn’t running and they didn’t fix the problem. I asked about the cost I quoted and the difference in the actual ticket price and he decided not to comment on it. So I paid the $ 128 and got my keys went outside and started my car right up. I was even more upset by now because they had just lied and told me my car wasn’t running. So I went back in and told them my car is running fine and asked for a refund on the diagnostic fee. By this time Scott was back and he told me that either way I would have to pay a diagnostic fee and it wasn’t free. I told him that he told me something else when I brought my car. He then threw the receipt at me and told me to leave his shop. I told him to stop telling customers that the diagnostic fee comes off of the price of the repair if they get the car fixed at his shop because he’s misleading customers. I also told him that I would never use his services again and walked out. I drove my car home, and it was fine. The repair is the only reason I would give them 1 star, but due to their customer service, attitude, and issues with honesty I would give them no stars and I warn anyone who wants to get work done on their car to go to a reputable company because Harts is not one.
