I just hate going to AT&T stores! Here I was desperate for help and stuck waiting for some time before I even was acknowledged. Other times the service has been rather unpredictable. I have 4 kids, 3 have cell phones and so I have been here too many times. This time was because my kids talked me into buying a phone online«on sale» for $ 100. I took it here to get activated and was told I still had to pay over $ 600 for the phone! Of course they didn’t tell me like that, they threw around all kinds of numbers in the form of monthly payments. I felt like I was at a used car dealership! Well, you don’t do that shit with me. I am ALL about the numbers. They were telling me that it was cheaper to go one way for $ 680 instead of another which cost $ 600. I told them that last time I checked, $ 680 was more money that $ 600. I felt like they were just tossing around numbers to confuse me and get me to spend more money. Nothing was written down, it was all said orally. I took out a pen and paper and started writing and it was downhill from there. All in all, I was pissed that I had already paid $ 100 for the phone, thinking that was all I was going to pay and then having to deal with someone who didn’t know math. I left and returned the phone. Next phone I am just buying outright and not dealing with these idiots!
