I love this place!!! I have found so many great items here. All the proceeds go to a good cause, Chester County Hospital. I had overlooked it many times until one day I spotted something I wanted in the window. I went in and was amazed at what they had. You need to check in often as the stock changes. If you are looking for something in particular, you can tell them and they keep a list of «wanted» items in case they get it in. The hours do suck a little bit but it is run by older volunteers. I just wish they would stay open at least until 5 or 6 one day a week.

One of my favorite thrift shops in the area, this volunteer-run consignment store is a treasure trove for womenfolk, especially those cut from the 50’s housewife cloth as is yours truly. the first floor is covered in china, plates, cutlery, platters, knickknacks, pictures, collectibles, god knows what else. The basement has cookware, appliances, books, furniture, sometimes clothes(almost always ratty), children’s toys, and so much more. I always feel somewhat like a big olé bull gingerly stepping around the immense amount of breakable wares the store has to offer. Everything is pretty cheap too, they have a policy where they mark the date which an item came in, and if x-amount of time has passed, say a month or two, you get a certain percentage off the item in question. It’s neat! The other day I made off with a pretty lil’ pristine pitcher, a cheesetray, an Audubon bird print with the most lovely golden patina on the edges of the frame, and a large serving platter, all for under 20 bucks.(they take cash & check only) The store has abbreviated, old lady-type hours(I think it closes at 3) because its run by elderly volunteers, but when it is open it can be crowded; the stock can change drastically in even a day. It’s worth a look, you’re bound to find at least one thing that tickles your fancy there.
