Holy cow you can’t pay me to go here!!! Made an appointment on July 1st for Aug 19th, had to reschedule on July 7th, the «receptionist» told me I couldn’t until they received my paperwork as it was late –WHAT!!! I just got in on 7 – 6, and what does that have to do with rescheduling. She continued to insist I get the paperwork in that was «late» and could not schedule an appointment. «I will make a note in the file when we receive your paperwork we will reschedule» ehhhh wrong I will not be sending in anything — RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, UNPROFESSIONAL, NEVER!!!

First of all, I have to give the greatest credit to Dr. Chawla at WCGG. It is extremely rare these days to find a doctor who is truly compassionate as well as incredibly competent. (Harvard trained etc etc). Honestly, he is just an extra ordinary doctor AND human being. I was in so much pain, and absolutely needed an endoscopy. I was TERRIFIED of this procedure for personal reasons. Dr. Chawla took hours and weeks and endless patience with me to get me ready. On the day of, I was so frightened, and he was incredibly compassionate. The nurses that helped me, and Dr. Weiss, the anesthesiologist, were off the charts sympathetic and kind. I truly cannot recommend Dr. Chawla and team enough. Best of the best.

The doctors are good from what I’ve experienced at this practice. That doesn’t apply to the front staff though. Extremely rude and pushy. Timing of appointments are poorly handled by the staff. Even when you request and schedule an appointment as the first patient they run late. 45 minutes late and counting. This is the third time that this has happened to me.
Why is it so difficult to find decent and polite front office staff that can manage such a simple thing as a doctors schedule.

With the exception of Dr. David R. Neiblum, West Chester Gi Associates is a great practice with six other doctors you can trust to get top quality medical care. Besides doctor appointments, you also have your Endoscopy’s and Colonoscopy’s done at the same facility. It’s much more convenient than having the procedures done at the hospital and you are in and out of there a lot faster.

Awesome group of docs. I had an upper endoscopy as well as colonoscopy and the medicine i recieved pre procedure was so great, I dont remember anything about the procedure at all. I received a courtesy call a few days post procedure to call and follow up on how i was feeling and see if i was having any issues which I had no complaints. Dr. Kurian was very attentive and interested in my needs as far as my condition goes. I cant place one ill comment about this place and recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality GI specialist.
