We were greeted immediately by a smiling hostess and told that they were short-staffed. We would need to wait just a few minutes while they cleaned and prepared a table for us. We understood that a restaurant could be short-staffed this Valentine’s day weekend and we were not going to hold that against them. Our wait at the bar was just a long enough to get a glass of water from the bartender, which I carried to my booth. That was the best of our service. Though, we heard the hostess mention that they were short-staffed, we really tried to take that into account when rating the dining experience. Because the menu has changed since the last time I dined here(years ago and this was my beau’s first time dining here), we took extra time to thoroughly see their offerings. After much discussion, We just decided to order the thing that Uno’s is famous for… a deep-dish pizza. We chose one of their classics, «Numero Uno», which has sausage, pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms, chunky tomato sauce, mozzarella and romano cheese. I recognized that they were understaffed, so we tried to over look the fact that after our order was placed our server never refilled our water, didn’t check on us at all after the pizza was brought and had to be hailed to give us AND to take our money for the bill. The frustration continued when the pizza was served. Oh my goodness! How much can they reduce the size of a «regular» –sized pizza and still expect people to pay $ 20+ for it!!! We asked the server(when she brought the pizza to our table) was this the correct size? Surely. the order was mistakenly placed as a small pizza, maybe even a personal size pizza. Our server assured us that what we received was the regular size pizza(their«large»). I couldn’t help but be disgusted. While the pizza tasted really good(it marveled my memory), the sub-par service, the pizza’s small size and high price made me not want to eat here again.

Not what I remember from uno’s. Pizza tastes like a banquet pot pie. Chips and guacamole were about the worst I’ve ever tasted. Sadly the beer wasn’t even cold enough to make up for the tasteless food. Too much money for bad food. We were there early so service was not an issue but wouldn’t go back even for free food.

Happening to be close in the area to the now only one Cincinnati area Uno’s, my husband carried out one of my favorite pizzas. The Shroom, which comes covered with whole button mushrooms(the picture doesn’t do it justice as I’d picked a lot of them off) on a thick, deep dish, buttery crust. We appreciated that if you ordered a pizza you got $ 5 to spend on an appetizer. My husband got cheese sticks, which he said were great, with more cheese than breading(rare in general.) He also got the Buffalo chicken wings, which he’s had before and were great, but this time were not good at all. He said they were mostly fat, not crisp and he had to toss the sauce himself. The front of house person was a bit flustered about the process, he said, and he figured he might have to take up duties that were staff’s.

I was concerned about reading the two recent reviews about service at this location, but wanted some pizza anyway, so I ordered online for curbside pickup. I paid ahead and now wish I hadn’t, because I’d delete the tip. I ordered and received my receipt at 6:05, and it said the order would be ready in 25 minutes. I expected it to take a bit longer, but when I got here at 6:30 saw the lot was pretty empty so thought it would be quicker. As I write this it is 6:51 and finally someone came out, but not with my order, just to say that they will go back and put it together. It is now 7pm, and after opening the pizza box I might as well have just drove away. Clearly it was sitting there ready the entire time. Also, I paid for 220oz drinks, but they brought out a 16oz Pepsi fountain cup, and said, «Oh, we don’t have those.» Well, I sure paid $ 1.99 for each one, and didn’t get them! I should have known the service would still suck after just a month since those previous reviews.

There are some unique flavor combinations on their menu, but that’s where the fascinating part stops. The pizza was good but the service has been incredibly lack luster the last two times that we’ve been. Some of the most traditional items on the menu(fried mozzarella and pretzel sticks) are second rate. You can find a better offerings from drive thru fast food. Their only real saving grace is a decent replica of Chicago style pizza. If you’re jones-Ing for traditional deep dish, this will do in a pinch – barely.

We were very pleasantly surprised tonight! We had a really bad experience here a few months ago and vowed to never go back, but we really wanted some deep dish pizza, so we gave it another try. The service was great(prompt, courteous, efficient, friendly) and the food tasted great(hot, fresh). It appears as though the management team has turned over(for the better) and our waiter tonight was transferred in from the Beechmont store(Chris) and was excellent. If you’ve had a bad experience here in the past I would definitely give them another try!

I strongly suggest the sampler platter appetizers, personally I have never had better onion rings or zucchini chips! Service was prompt and very attentive. I can’t see how anyone could ever leave here without being simply stuffed.

Only came here because family was in town and they had to have it. Not sure why. The food isn’t very good. No where near Chicago style.

I’ve been to Uno’s franchises before and loved them. This one, however, was a hot mess. I don’t like to write reviews bashing the restaurant, but this one failed on all levels. We got there at 6pm and immediately sat in an empty section. Two other tables were sat in the same section shortly after. I waited until 6:17, then finally went to the front to inform them that no one had been back to see anyone back there. It was approx. 8 minutes after I went up that someone finally came back. By that time one of the tables had walked out. The waiter was a young guy and he was nice enough. He explained that they were super short staffed and he got caught up with a table. Ok, that’s fine– forgive and forget– I’m starving and we were running behind for the drive-in movie now. I ordered the crab dip with no tomato–(see below, there’s tomato). It’s minor, I can just take it off, no biggie. Then they bring out my dinner but not Lauren’s wings. He explains there was a mix up and the wings were’t made.(or weren’t ordered, IDK) so I had to wait and my food got cold waiting for hers. I was so irritated I didn’t send it back, I just ate it. My food was the lobster sliders. Its sliders where the lobster was ice cream scooped on. I mean, come on. At least spread it out so it doesn’t resemble pre-made school cafeteria food. On top of that– it wasnt good. I HOPE it was real lobster and not imitation, but it needed moisture with more mayo. There was way to much bread. At this point I was just done and wanted to leave. I ate the lobster, left the fries, slaw, and most of the bun on the plate and asked for the check. To our waiters credit, he did offer a free small dessert; but we just wanted to leave. This is such a disappointment. I hope this place gets its act together as I love other Uno franchises. I recommend skipping this place and going to any of the other way better restaurants in the area.

I remember as a little girl my mother and aunts ordered Uno’s on special occasions and I thought it was the grossest thing. I distinctly remember sampling it again as a 17 year old and falling in love. My favorite location on Ludlow has since closed but I make the drive to West Chester every four months or so to indulge in my favorite pizza. Tonight my husband and I were reminiscing about the steak and cheese pizza they had on Ludlow. It was absolutely delightful, but apparently it was isolated to that location. Our trip down memory lane landed us at the store in West Chester. Tonight we ordered two pizzas, the first was obviously the Número Uno, but we weren’t sure about the second. We stepped out on faith and ordered mushroom pizza… The Shroom… It was amazing! If you like mushrooms you will love this pizza. Unless this location introduces the steak and cheese pizza, I’ve found my new favorite.

So Friday night at union center blvd area. Everything Is close to a 45 minute wait as far as anything more than fast food. UNOs we walked right in no wait. I was not really in a pizza mood so I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and a salad. The salad was your typical type of salad from a bag garden salad. Not a lot of flavor. We ordered the shrimp and crab dip for a appetizer. It was yummy with crusty slices of bread for dipping. My salmon was awful. It was very firm not soft when you cut into it. It had a strong fishy taste unlike normal salmon flavor. I was not able to eat it. The mashed potatoes were just that mashed potatoes. My husband got a personal pizza with just pepperoni and cheese. He said it was slightly greasy but it was ok. Maybe this was why there was no wait at this place. I have to say that our waiter was very nice and the manager took the salmon off our bill since I did not eat it. Not sure if I will go back here again unless I don’t want to have a wait on a weekend and get something different to try…

My daughter and I must eat a gluten free diet and the staff was very good and helpful. Our food was very good! The menu has a gluten free section and a variety of choices. My husband had non-gluten free items and he said they were excellent. The portions were great too.

Uno’ is located next to the hotel we were staying at and after such a great dinner we were kicking ourselves for waiting till our last night to give it a try. Great service, the food was served fast, and hot. Very flavorful! The pizza was the best!

I’m pretty impressed. The service was great; very friendly folks. The food is really good. We were looking for a place to order a big pizza to serve our group; this isn’t that kind of pizza place. You can get a personal pizza or a full sized, which feeds 2 – 3 people(for around $ 20). So, instead, we chose from the 2 for $ 12 menu, and shared and sampled lots of different things. The pizza is really good, the Mac and cheese is tasty, the baked ziti was decent and the bruschetta was quite lovely. The pizza from the kid’s menu is pretty huge; probably a 10inch pizza so plan on getting that doggie bag or helping the youngun munch it down. Overall, I liked it! A little pricey, but tasty!

LOVE this place! ALWAYS a stop when traveling from Michigan to Kentucky. Their shroom pizza is «AWESOME!» The deep dish crust is the«BEST» ever! Got it my first visit to Uno & was hooked. I have never ordered anything else other than dessert(chocolate chip skillet cookie), which is also«PHENOMENAL!» The shroom is no longer on menu, but is usually available upon request. GOOO!!!

Perhaps I went on an off day because I am stunned this place has four stars on Unilocal! When I went it was pretty much dead so we were expecting fast service. Nope. We waited about 10 minutes for our drinks and they never cleaned up the tables surrounding us. So during our ENTIRE stay, we were surrounded by dirty dishes and old food. They kept adding more on the table directly across from us. Just left me with a gross feeling. The mac and cheese was pretty decent which is why I’m giving this place two stars. The pizza I didn’t think was terrible but my boyfriend stated that he felt the sauce tasted like it was made from Campbell’s tomato soup which instantly turned my stomach upside down. Needless to say, we will not be back.
