Planet Smoothie

We have only had one smoothie. Crazy carnival. And wow. You have no idea how awe striking it is. The perfect blend of flavor and happiness. Would travel beyond the reaches of this galaxy to just get a sip of this magical smoothie.

I love this Planet Smoothie! I’ve been going here for years and they are always willing to accommodate my dietary needs because I can’t have dairy so I switch up the ingredients when I go sometimes although it is also wonderful they already have smoothie without dairy. The service is wonderful too. Oh and I never forget to get a delicious and massive vegan cookie there!

A pretty standard smoothie place. Their drive through is convenient, the staff is always really nice and they give out dog treats if you come through with a canine companion.
Their largest shakes are seriously huge. It’s a great place to grab something sweet that’s not too bad for you, although I’d recommend checking out their nutritional info before making a choice if you’re concerned — some of their largest shakes are like 1,000 calories which is half a day’s food for most people.

Planet Smoothie is the place to go if you want a filling, slightly less bad for you but definitely delicious frozen drink.
I greatly appreciate that Planet Smoothie not only makes all of the nutritional information available online, but that they also have very customize-​able drinks. What I don’t appreciate is that the labels (like weight loss drinks) can be a bit deceiving — many of the drinks *not* in the weight loss category are actually lower-​calorie and you can ask them to add that powder that «boosts your metabolism» (I don’t really believe that.) At the end of the day, it’s still a cup full of sugar. But it’s tasty and not near as high calorie as many other similar places.
The inside of this store is always very clean and the staff have always been friendly. It also has a drive-​through on the side but they aren’t always aware that you are there — so you might have to ring the little bell they have.
Additionally, the drinks take some time to prepare so I think it’s easier just to go on in, but if you do go in through the drive-​through you can just turn your car off to save gas/​pollute less. If you take your pup they have little treats for them too!

I was by myself at lunch time yesterday and didn’t want to get fast food so I decided to drop by Planet Smoothie for a healthy and filling blended treat.
This was my first time in the shop and I thought it was cute, it’s themed, as the name suggests, in a «world» motif, a globe hangs by the door and all of the décor is in green and blue.
I glanced at the menu which was divided into categories like «Energy,» and «Weight Loss,» making it easy for me to make my selection. I really liked that each of the Weight Loss smoothies, which include some kind of fat burning powder, weren’t named things that gave them away, so to speak. I ordered the Leapin Lizard… strawberries, peaches, and Fat Burner. It was delicious!
My small smoothie was $ 4.79, a little more expensive then I’d like to pay for a small smoothie. It was good though!
