Severely disappointed with how far down this place has gone lately. I’m sad to update my review like this, but I feel it’s potentially valuable information to others.
First of all, after each appointment the receptionist will ask you to schedule your next visit, my husband and I always say no because of how crazy our schedules can be, we never know when we will be available until 1 – 2 weeks advance. So I told them I won’t make another appointment until I know I can.
My husband went in for a routine teeth cleaning not long after I, and for whatever bizarre reason Ms. Munowitz decided to do additional dental work he did not ask for, without his permission and then made demands that he pay an additional fee for it PLUS make another appointment to «finish» the work — he said no to both and left.
So then about three months later she sends us a bill in the mail for the work he did not approve/​ask for plus additional fees for «missed appointments!» Our insurance covered some of the amount (too much if you ask me) but we cannot justify ever giving this business any more of our money or time. I’m also going to be filing a complaint with the BBB. I warn others to find a more reputable dentist.
