Kreutz Creek Winery

My friend and I went with a Groupon deal on a Thursday night. The Groupon didn’t list anything about needing to make a reservation, so we didn’t. However, we were told upon arrival that we should have — seemingly the waitress was just overwhelmed and probably would have preferred a reservation. She was having a lot of trouble keeping up with all of the patrons — every table was full as was the bar area. So, she didn’t do a great job of explaining the various wines we were tasting.
Out of an entire tasting, I really only enjoyed one of the wine selections. So, for that reason alone I probably wouldn’t return.
It is neat that you can bring your own food in with you (we saw people with cheese/​crackers and others who had ordered pizza and brought it in). Thursday nights they do have «Yappy Hour,» and people can bring in their dogs. If you’re a fan of dogs, that makes for a nice outing.

There is no better person than Ann to help to guide you through the wines from this great local vineyard. Kreutz is a friendly approachable local winery whose owners care and produce good wine. Ann is knowledgable and charismatic not to mention a special kind of wonderful. Stop by and try this one.

I was not impressed with the wine at all. I did buy a bottle of strawberry wine and it is delicious with birthday cake. I wish this tasting had been free, because that’s what it was worth.

I love this place! The atmosphere is fun, the music on the weekends is perfect, plus, it is one place that I can take my dog!
How perfect is that?

A significant other and I wandered into this place last night. There was a sign outside that said Wine Tasting — BYOF, there were festive Christmas lights inside, and there was a guy playing his guitar inside. Why wouldn’t we check it out?
It was $ 7 each for a tasting of select wines. There were about 10 of them– whites, dry reds, semi dry, and their dessert wines. It was a very cozy and romantic atmosphere with delicious wines. We ended up buying two bottles at decent prices!
I definitely recommend!
