You can’t beat a(around) $ 20 haircut. The staff are very kind and thoughtful. Students can have discounts on the price which I think makes them about $ 15. My boyfriend comes here every time to get a hair cut and he always looks great! There is also a dog that hangs out in the shop. I watched it eat hair off of the floor once(which was grossly funny), but it’s a dog. Dogs are dumb.

I’ve been to this place twice now. Both times it was not the owner who cut my hair. First was decent. She gave me something of a ‘fun’ cut. Kind of like the 80’s; a not so obvious one side cut. Not bad but something that I would not do again. I will rate this as a 3 star. Second one was really bad. The women who cut my hair sits besides the owner. I think she is new or new to cutting itself. I should have said no to her when Carolyn asked me if I wanted my hair cut by her. I was looking at her technique and it’s something that is not what I normally see from any barber or hair dresser. How can I put it nicely. It’s like a gardener trimming an out of control bush. Going back the cut itself. I only asked for simple, trim it and tighten up everything cut. I ended up with an uneven cut. Left back side of my hair were significantly thinner than the rest. I will go back there this Saturday and will ask for an appointment with the owner. Let’s see if it gets better. Otherwise, I am off looking for a new barber, again.

I don’t know what happened to the first review I posted long ago, but I still feel the same way. Yes, the haircuts are perfect and a great price. But the real reason to go is because this is the most creative, fun barbershop you have ever seen. The place is outfitted with insane classic rock memorabilia, down to Kiss mannequins in barber chairs in the windows. Music is always playing, coffee, candy and cold drinks await, and the team there has a great sense of style and humor. ALL barbershops should be like this! Don’t miss their Halloween parade events — they are especially fun at holiday times!

Best barber in West Chester. I have tried a number of other hair cutters and C Mac’s is by far the best. Carolyn(the one with the crazy hair) and Cindy(the other one) both do an excellent job cutting hair. I have never had a bad haircut from either one, it always looks great. Most barbershops you go in for a haircut and that’s it. C Mac’s makes getting a haircut a desirable Saturday activity. The shop is by far the friendliest place in West Chester. If Carolyn isn’t cutting hair she is offering you a cup of coffee, donut, meatballs, or a soda. The shop is filled with rock and roll memorabilia, and if the content and variety of memorabilia is the measure of greatness of rock, Kiss is the best band in the history of rock. C Mac’s is the best haircut, and the best way to spend a Saturday morning.

So, since Anthony, the last guy who cut my hair went AWOL, I have been going crazy trying to find a replacement. Some good, but expensive some bad but cheap, but nothing just right. Then, just as my hair is getting to the point where the sides look clownish, I run into my long lost friend Deb and she tells me her sister just opened a barbershop in West Chester. I’m in. What Deb failed to mention is that her sister is cuckoo for cocoa puffs, if you replace cocoa puffs with the band Kiss. The walls are adorned with Kiss memorabilia and Carolyn’s hair is an homage to Paul Stanley. Putting all that aside, she gives a great haircut at a reasonable price, mine was $ 15.00, and if you are willing to humiliate yourself, you can sing Kiss karaōke and your cut is comped.
