I like the thought of this place but they always seem to have their share of struggles. We knew of this location because they had a location near us in Springboro but locked the doors. I feel that may be in this locations future too. It’s a comfortable environment. Everything looks nice inside and they have a decent wine selection at reasonable prices. You can enjoy any bottle you like there for a $ 7 corkage fee. The menu has several appetizers, sandwiches, and pizzas. The food is ok. My usual struggle here is the service. They only had two employees other than kitchen help for a busy Saturday night. Thats INSANE. We chose a bottle and waited quite a while for someone to come along and even greet us let alone open our bottle. We decided on an appetizer and a pizza but it took them at least 15 minutes to get to us to take our order. They were out of the ingredients for our chosen appetizer. He seemed frustrated that I said I would need a little more time to choose something else. We got our food and there was nothing wrong with it. It’s just ok. I ordered the crab cake appetizer. It had five little crab cakes the size of a quarter smothered in so much remoulade that it was impossible to taste anything other than that. The spinach and artichoke dip is some of the best I have had. It just left me wanting more because the portion size is very small. It comes in a small ramekin with some toasted baguette. The pizza was fine. They had live music. These guys were very good. I can’t recall their names but they were a local West Chester band. The good thing is, once you are able to get service and open your wine there is no need to be in a hurry. It’s relaxing and mostly enjoyable. They really need more help.

This place was a pleasant surprise! We went for a holiday work party and its a great venue for this type of event! The staff and establishment was very accommodating. We had a decent sized party and took up over half of the restaurant. For the party, we had hors d’oeuvres such as spicy bourbon meatballs, cheese, fine deli meats, etc. they then served both flatbread and regular pizza. All of it was fantastic! Fresh and flavorful pizza. Personally, I only tried the Pinot noir, which was good. The wine was very reasonably priced. They do have a full bar and wide selection of beer and wine. This place is cozy. It was decorated tastefully for the holidays and the bar and restaurant finishes are nice! Pretty cabinetry and granite. I can’t speak for a normal Saturday night since I was there for a party. We took up a lot of space, and they weren’t at capacity by any means. I’d be interested to see if the atmosphere is any different on a «normal» night.

I have visited this wine bar once and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a flight of Rose. One thing I did not like was that they do not give you all the glasses of wines at once, but would pour the next one when you finished one. The waitress lost track of which one I was on and which ones I had tried and I had to wait each time for the next pour. Other than that I had a great time and the appetizers were great. I will definitely be back.

I was unimpressed overall. Our server was sweet, but they only had one chef in the kitchen and were overwhelmed that night. The pizza was average. Even though fresh, the flavor profile as choices overall weren’t exactly new age. The pesto dip and bruschetta were delicious but a little salty. I was guzzling water afterwards. The salads, despite taking 20 minutes to come out, were great. Nothing to write home about. The amazing live music would probably be what I come back for!

A very pleasant surprise. Our Pino Grigio as expected was tasty and cold. The Pizza was exceptional and likely to be ordered again. Try the Roquefort Blue Pizza with Red onion, bacon and mushrooms, on a garlic and olive oil crust, topped off with blue cheese. We do wish this place all the love in the world. They are in a building where two other restaurants have failed in the last 4 years or so, I think they are a winner, so if you’re reading this post, then plan a trip to Bella Vino. I forgot to mention, there is a Great Wall of Wine, if you like that sort of thing!

Tried this place after diner at Jags. It was hopping, complete with a hippy guy singing, large parties celebrating and couples out for a nice evening. Nice change of pace v sports bar. Service was slow, but friendly. They seemed under staffed for the crowd that was there. Many wines to select from and a few craft beers on tap. Nice spot will return with friends.

2.5– 3.0 rating. The staff was friendly and informative. I was able to try the BBQ chicken pizza which was tasty. The wine flight was a little pricy, I wasn’t expecting $ 14. The wines were ok, overall I enjoyed my visit here and the company I was with!

Not sure about these 5 star reviews. I think the place is a nice idea, but execution is another matter. Beers are pretty spendy. The Biggest issue is understaffing. There was only one person to run the bar and wait all the in the entire place. It was not even half full but things moved very slow. I was even more stoked when my food came out and I had to pick rotten pieces of lettuce out of my salad. My skimpy Ruben advertised on a roll came on toast. Safe to say I won’t be going back despite regular business trips to the area.

I’ve never considered myself a «wine person.» I’ve been a beer person, cocktail person(kamikaze!), mixed drink, liqueur person, and a soft drink person. But I’ve never been big on wine so I didn’t think I would enjoy this place. So glad to say I was wrong and it was my husband’s suggestion to stop in here! He was right! Walking in, the first impression is the store aspect, first thing you see are wine accessories, little packaged gourmet treats, hand painted glasses, and cigars for sale. Then you see that the wine bottles for sale are lining the walls, and the central floor area is a variety of tables, and across the room is a small bar. We were still studying the cigar case, obvious newcomers, when a host came up to welcome us and give us a quick walk through of the seating options, the beverage options, and a look at the menu. I was delighted to learn that we could share a wine flight, which consists of five samples for $ 10. The pours were pretty generous, I think, and it was great to have a little bit of five different kinds, ranging from a white up to a full bodied red. They change the flight selection once a week. Our host, whose name I believe was Gary, was absolutely charming and you could see he loved what he was doing. He freely admitted he was not yet an expert, still learning, but his enthusiasm was infectious. And he had the neatest mustache, too! We had already eaten, but perusing the menu of «small plates» everything sounded really perfect as light refreshment that would go great with wine. And, this is important, the prices are definitely affordable, making this a place you can enjoy often without breaking the bank. Atmosphere is classy cool, elegant but not über-swanky where you’d feel you had to be dressed up. When all was said and done, we had a fine time and a comfortable little wine buzz for only $ 10… never felt rushed or pressured to spend more. But we did feel most welcome. Bottom line… I can’t wait to go back! This time, hungry. Bella Vino may make a wine person out of me yet.

This is a great place for a relaxing evening. The décor is standard for a wine shop but everything else is exceptional. The walls are lined with countless bottles to choose from and seating is ample. The service is friendly and helpful. One warning, every time I have been here it is freezing inside. Make sure to bring a sweater if you tend to be cold like me. There are weekly wine flights that are generally pretty clever and timely. For example, on the week of mother’s day all of the wine in the flight was from vineyards ran by women. My favorite was when the pope was elected. All of the flight options were from areas that past popes were born. So creative! They bring out the wine flights one by one(instead of 5 glasses at once), which I think is awesome. It allows you to really enjoy the wine instead of hopping from one to the next. The flights are a great deal at $ 10. They also have bottles and glasses available for purchase. The food here is great! I especially like that they have so many cheese options(pizza, brie, pesto alfedo dip, etc). What can I say, I do love cheese. We have dined here several times and my food has always been delicious! Not into wine? That’s okay here. They have a few handles that feature unique craft beers, as well as an impression selection of bottles to be purchased. Make sure to check their calendar for weekly specials, such as ladies night or live music. I am unsure of what this location was formerly, but there is a drive-thru window. Every time I come I am hopeful that drive-thru wine is an option. Not yet, but maybe someday!

This place has a great atmosphere for a quiet evening out. There’s a huge selection of wine and craft beer for drinking there or taking home. I didn’t get a chance to sample the food(arriving late to the get together), but everyone at my table said how good it was. I can say the staff was great and always had a good recommendation for wine or beer. I hope to go back soon and try some of the food as well as some unique bevys.

This is a great wine shop in the west Chester area. They have a large selection of wines and a very experienced staff that can help you find the right wine for any occasion. They also have a wine bar and have a great selection of beer as well. Bella vino offers light bites as well like pizza. Bella vino is well organized. It has a laid back feel. It’s definitely not a stuck up wine shop.

They have an impressive wine selection — on the menu and in the attached store. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The barbecue pizza was really good — not too spicy(I’m not usually a fan of BBQ pizza, but I ate several pieces). The chocolate peanut butter pie is a MUST! And, as other reviewers have noted, they had several interesting beers to try. I’ll definitely be going back!

We have been to Bella Vino twice recently, once for a wine tasting and once for lunch. Each time was an outstanding experience. First, the staff at Bella Vino is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Daniel’s wine expertise is amazing. In fact, we joined their«Wine of the Month Club» and have been very pleased. Also, if you enjoy beer, Bella Vino has an excellent selection of craft beer and don’t be shy about asking Daniel for his recommendations. During my last visit, I described by beer taste preference to Daniel and he suggested a couple of new crafts beers that were spot on and very enjoyable. Most recently, we dropped by for lunch and split the barbeque chicken pizza. Excellent choice! The pizza was a delicious with a sweet and spicy sauce, atop a delightful crust. When you dine at Bella Vino, you are literally surrounded by great selection of wines available for purchase. So, after you make your food selection, you can browse the racks for a matching wine. Browsing the wine bottles is so much more fun than simply reading from a wine list. We were also told that once the weather warms, they will have some outdoor seating which will be a great place for an evening glass of wine. We are looking forward to trying dinner soon, but so far we have been extremely pleased with this welcomed addition to the neighborhood.

I don’t really drink wine, so I was happy to see that this wine bar also had an excellent beer selection. Their manager really seemed to know his beers after talking to him and was able to make some great suggestions based on my personal taste. My friends that select wine over beer also seemed to enjoy each wine they selected with the help of the very friendly staff. I tried the Spicy Pesto pizza and it was very good, although I always prefer more spiciness in a dish. The pizza’s were good enough size for 2 people to share, and of the thinner crust variety. In addition to great beer and good food, they also had plenty of TVs for those of us that would rather drink, eat and catch a game. I imagine that this might be a great place to go for dinner when the Reds are playing. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone that likes a good beer and a solid pizza, and hope to return soon.

This place has a great vibe. It’s in a nice location and has a really classy, yet laid back atmosphere. They have a cute party room that would be great for hosting events. I could see myself coming here often. I ordered the barbecue pizza and really enjoyed it. The taste was unique but the flavor was mild enough that it wasn’t overpowering. I really enjoyed my time here and look forward to coming again.

My wife and I have been here for wine tasting and dinner twice since they opened a few weeks ago. The wine tastings are really fun — especially because of the passion that Daniel brings to describing each wine. We really like the pizzas we have had there as well. We were there for the Valentine’s Day dinner(for two) and left filled and pleased. Unlike the previous review, we have seen a full range of ages in Bella Vino. We plan to return on a regular basis…and bring a few friends soon!

FINALLY — something that will stay in this location(hopefully). There have been countless businesses in this location since the strip was put in. They have a location in Springboro and wanted to expand so they bought Little Sonoma that was in the strip and moved a few doors down and they are now this charming little place. I went last night for Ladies Night(drink and appetizer specials) and they had some live acoustic music going on which is always a nice addition. The crowd is older(like my parents age older), but I still had a good time. Sometimes that crowd is more fun than my age group. We got a flight(5 wines) for 10 bucks — and they are generous tastings — all delicious too… none of them were bad. We also got a chocolate lava cake which was awesome! They have appetizers and pizza’s — I don’t think they have a full dinner menu. You can just go in and buy a bottle of wine, or sit down. The staff is great — they work as a team — not one person comes to your table — which I thought was kind of neat. It’s a small place so it works — I’m sure it’d get confusing if there were any more tables. Anyway, I’m really happy this is here. It’s adorable and close to my dad’s(key).
