Pizza Hut

I used to like this Pizza Hut, but after my last ordering experience, I’ve changed my mind and I’ve decided that I’ll never order from here again.
My roommate and I ordered online, which we’ve done many times from Pizza Hut. We always order with a credit card, and we did this time, too. I entered the credit card information and it was accepted. Yet somehow, something went wrong and the order was sent with the payment as «cash.» We did not know about this until the delivery person showed up at the door and told us we owed cash. The delivery driver was nice and helpful about it, but the guy I talked to at the restaurant was very rude and short with me about the whole thing. The delivery driver had to take the phone from me and ask him to re-​run my order as a credit card payment because the guy on the phone was being a jerk about it.
I understand that with online orders, problems can happen. That’s not why I’m mad. But the guy on the phone was totally unprofessional and rude. If it hadn’t been for the delivery driver being so nice, I would have probably just sent the pizza back. So thanks to the poorly way the guy I spoke to on the phone handled this situation, that is the last time I will ever order there. Which is a shame, because I like Pizza Hut.

Three stars, yes, but understand that most Pizza Huts that still have dining rooms deserve 1 or 2 stars… this one not only has a dining room but it’s actually clean and well-​maintained! Such a nice treat for this child of the eighties. The food is just fine, the usual for Pizza Hut, and the service is friendly, though you can tell the employees must devote most of their attention to the delivery and take-​out side of things.
The only thing keeping this from being a four star place is the men’s room (and I’m guessing the ladies room as well)… Neither stall door has a fully working latch and the one that works best is uncomfortably narrow. Add rusted out dividers and walls and fixtures that look permanently filthy and you’ve got a restroom that fits more with the hundreds of other decrepit Pizza Hut dining rooms out there than it does with this happy gem of times a little more recently gone by.
