Went there on break and I was very satisfied with the food. Only I was in a rush. Overall very good customer service! Will be coming back for more of their delicious sushi!

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and had some great Chinese food. When you sit down there are already those fried wonton chips on the table with some sweet and sour sauce and they bring you a pot of tea, which I thought was a nice way to start. We both started with soup — he loved his hot and sour soup and I loved my wonton soup. Then we shared the hunan chicken and General tso’s chicken. They give you the choice of having white or brown rice on the side. The Hunan chicken was a little spicy but really good! The chicken pieces were big and juicy and there was a good ratio of chicken to vegetables.(And it came with my favorite baby corns so that’s always a plus!) The general tso’s chicken was delicious. I am a big general tso’s fan so it’s always interesting to see who stacks up. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was sort of sweet with just the tiniest bit of heat(I’m not too much of a spicy food fan so that was great for me). And +10 points for putting the broccoli on the side because who wants that stuff anyway. Also, I find that Chinese food can often make me feel really full and then like an hour later I am hungry again but this food kept me full all night!

Typical suburban Chinese takeout and eat in restaurant. There is always better, nothing special about this place other than its strip mall convenience and lunch time specials. I don’t want to waste any more time, look elsewhere.

Very disappointed with the food, no better than your average take out joint. Did they ever hear of seasonings?! So bland, and for the price you’d think it’d Way over priced, $ 6.99 each for a small chicken lo mein & shrimp fried rice?! I mean if it was good then it’d be worth the price. We also ordered the Happy Family for $ 17.35 seriously pricy for mediocre food & a small portion. The wonton soup was ok & the best thing we ate were the free crispy noodles & duck sauce on the table. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place & the service was good & the people were nice but the food was forgettable & lacked flavor, we didn’t even finish it. Sorry to say that we will not be going back, if you’ve ever eaten real Chinese food you’d be disappointed & don’t waste your money.

Our favorite place for Asian food. Been going there for years. Sushi is spectacular. Great service. We go there at least once a month. Try the Sushi Pizza. Never been disappointed. Awesome!

Ate there last night, as was there once before and food good then. Both me and a friend ordered from the Chinese specialty menu. The food came out within seconds of being ordered — a bad sign. The food was bland, cold, chewy for shrimp and scallops, and the portions small. Even the rice was cold. Sent back for heating and still luke warm. Complained to waiter that the food did not taste good. He said that he would inform the cook, with an attitude that he could not care less. Will not go back.

Sad to say this use to be our go to place for Chinese, Japanese and Sushi. It was a family meeting place where we could all gather a share a great meal. Usually there would be 8 – 10 of us. After some bad experiences a year ago with food not tasting good and takeout orders missing items that we were charged for and the management wouldn’t replace or give back our money we decided to give it another try. Not sure why, wish we hadn’t. First off the prices have soared. Sushi rolls were $ 7 – 8 for some basic rolls. Spicy Crunchy Tuna roll was neither spicy or crunchy. Shrimp Tempura roll was bland. Both had a stale air taste which I think was the rice. Chicken with garlic sauce was very spicy and yet had no taste or balance of flavors. Again $ 12.99 for this was crazy and this is for lunch. Wonton soup had zero flavor. My local sushi place the basic rolls are $ 4 – 5 and are just as big and the Chicken w/garlic sauce is $ 7.99 with comparable portions. It’s a shame that this place has gone downhill and I think we are done with it now.

Excellent restaurant overall. The sushi is super fresh, well-prepared and delicious. Loved the spicy scallop roll in particular. I love to order a sushi starter and a Chinese entrée here. It just works. The two standout entrees I’ve tried are the sweet and sour chicken(a knockout throwback to my childhood!), extra pineapple and sauce on the side for dipping, and the beef with green beans, just a delicious and satisfying choice. Bring a nice red wine and it’s a super dinner. Service is warm and gracious, too.

Good food, great customer service, i get Asian Delite probably twice a week(eating their beef lo mein right now with hot n sour soup and egg roll) the food is authentic and really good compare to other Chinese restaurants. Yea its true that they dont deliver but the food is worth it. Not a big fan of their hot an sour soup(they actually put a piece of chicken in it which was kinda rare). The dine in its nice and you can bring your own wine.

It’s often been my experience in the panacea of New Jersey Chinese food restaurants that the truly quality establishments don’t deliver. That applies to this place most certainly. It’s the best Chinese cuisine in West Essex. It’s always flavorful, freshly prepared, and ready in ten minutes. Just call from your car on the way there and you won’t be disappointed. Dining in is a great option too. It’s in a strip mall, but there’s linen table cloths and attentive service. Great for a quick bite, and no picture menus at this joint!

While I’ve never actually eaten in the restaurant, this is my favorite Asian place. My favorites are the Sesame Chicken and Chicken and Broccoli. It seems like they want to get rid of their fried noodles as they always give me a ton. Highly recommended.

Pretty dam good food here. Sit in or take out. Kinda classy but unpretentious at the same time. Eaten there a thousand times and always satisfied I got my monies worth. Great Hot and Sour soup, geat variety in the menu. Japanese and sushi also. Private lot… other shops to go too, a Stop and Shop supermarket and a SEARSHARDWARE store in the strip… HOORAH!

Just at dinner here for the first time. The place was sweet. I had no idea what I wanted to get, and the awesome waitress suggested the«California Dream»(Fried california roll with mango and spicy sauce, topped with sprinkles… Yes, SPRINKLES!). Scary but delicious. The sushi was fresh and tasty. Great food, staff and inexpensive.

Asian Delite, located off Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell, NJ, offers large portions of tasty, fresh Chinese and Japanese favorites at a reasonable price. The ambience isn’t exceptional — it is located in a New Jersey strip mall, after all — but the food is freshly prepared and served quickly in large portions by attentive waitstaff. The menu( ) covers most of your expected Chinese and Japanese favorites. Most dinner entrees range in price from $ 10 to $ 20; lunch specials are offered until 3pm.
