I really wanted to like this place. I’ve heard so many amazing things about it. I called and ordered Combination 4 with sweet and sour chicken and a Combination 11 with pork and black bean sauce. The guy kept saying«pork and broccoli» so I didn’t know if I’d ordered the right thing, but I just went for it because clarifying was just confusing the situation more. I told the guy that I have an allergy to peppers and that there can’t be any sent to me at all. Not in either of the dishes or anything. He responded by saying, «we have peppers in our fried rice. Is that okay?» I said no and he said«okay it’s okay». I gave up and got the total. By now it had taken 15 minutes to order 2 things. After I picked up the food, I saw that the pork and black bean sauce had red and green peppers in the dish, so I went for the sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was without sweet and sour sauce??? so I used duck sauce. I will say this, the chicken fingers were fresh and delicious. However, there were peppers in my rice and my chicken wings were on top of the rice so I couldn’t eat either. I ended up with about 15 chicken fingers and no sweet and sour sauce. I’m incredibly disappointed. I gave my mother the rest of the food and the rice was dry, hard, and difficult to swallow. The pork was overcooked and the black bean sauce left much to be desired. We will not be dining here again.

Just had dinner there. I’ve been going there for years. I don’t know if they have changed owners but the food came to the table cold and definitely not the quality it used to be. When we walked in the front door the place had a musty mildew odor. Not pleasant when your dining. The place was freezing cold. Mentioned it to the waiter. All he said was the heats on, sorry Will not be going back

The best Chinese food around here. The Wok Inn uses fresh ingredients in alot of dishes. In season veggies also. In spring many dishes with fresh asparagus! Enjoy a sit down dinner or get take out. The quality is worth an extra drive. Don’t forget to order a scorpion bowl.

Very disappointed ! Ordered wonton soup and a main dish for carry out. The wontons were mush. Literally fell apart and tasted awful. The broth had been doctored up w tons of soy. The main dish was visually appealing but no flavor. Wok Inn was awesome at one time.

To me, the most important thing about any good chinese restaurant are the crab rangoons. If those are lousy, you can probably bet every other thing on the menu doesn’t even matter after that. I hate to say it, but Wok Inn’s crab rangoons are seriously disappointing. I don’t know what the odd flavor is, possibly some red bell pepper? I have also discussed the poor crab rangoons with others, and they mentioned the strange flavor without me even bringing it up. So I know I am not alone! Usually this would be an indicator that the rest of the menu will be disappointing. Wok Inn’s saving grace is that this is not really true. I do however notice a huge difference in quality/quantity of dishes that are eaten at the restaurant vs. taken home. Take home tends to be skimpy and not too great. They do have some nice things on the menu… Some a little pricey, but most items are A OK.

Unfortunately, after frequenting Wok Inn for years, we’ve stopped. The service is fine, but much of the food is just average. That was nothing to keep us from coming back, but in the last year we found a big fly in our food once, and a twisty tie another time. Are folks in back just not paying enough attention? Not sure, but it’s enough for us to look elsewhere. It’s a great establishment if you’re good with playing roulette with whatever small items are flying around in the kitchen.

I love the Wok! The food is amazing. Fresh, delicious, and not too salty or oily. I think they have a new chef in the kitchen, because everything we’ve had lately is so good! I’ve had the basics here — chicken broccoli; veggie dumplings; General Tso’s chicken, etc. — and they’re all great. I also really like the new«Wok Chop» that they’ve introduced. It’s a fried porkchop, and it’s really moist inside, but crunchy on the outside. Reminds me of tonkatsu(for those of you who like Japanese food). It goes well with a beer. The Wok has good drinks that are very reasonably priced. Everyone who works here is friendly and welcoming. This is a small family business and I’m happy to support them!

While staying with a friend in the area we’ve been here 3 times and had 7 – 8 different dishes. Each one has been great or not at all, 50⁄50 isn’t the best score but I guess they are A-Ok for the area.

I’ve driven by here a number of times, but never bothered to stop in. Thought I’d give it a try given the favorable reviews. I was not disappointed. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere, was big enough(but not huge as some Chinese restaurants can be), and pretty modern looking. Staff was very attentive, and food was great. I had the gourmet hot pot. Definately glad I stopped in.

While they may be a little overly professional and slightly lacking in table-side-manner, their food is first rate. My friend had Curry chicken, while I had Ginger chicken. Both were quite delicious and used fresh ingredients, prepared to order. The veggies were crisp. And unlike some places I could actually taste the ginger in my dish. It wasn’t overly greasy either. My friend also enjoyed his Curry chicken, saying all the food was definitely in his top two list of 100’s of Chinese restaurants he’d been to.(His favorite food, not mine). Since this place is a bit out of the way, I’d have to borrow from the Phantom Gourmet and pronounce this place to be a hidden-gem. They may not give you fried noodles to dip at the beginning of your meal, nor pineapple chunks at the end. But if you are in the neighborhood and like Chinese food, you owe it to yourself to stop in here.

A surprising and most welcome find literally in the middle of nowhere. On the basis of one visit I would definitely go back for more fine food at a very reasonable price.

I went there with some friends for dinner. We ordered several dishes of beef, chicken, and shrimp along with some appetizers. The two dishes that really stood out to me were the sesame beef and the ivory shrimp. The sesame beef was very flavorful and had a very attracting scent to it. I’d say that’s my favorite! Ivory shirmp’s had this golden sauce on it but the portion was a little small. I wish I had more of those.

I had the chance to try Wok Inn twice. Once for a sit down lunch and once for take out. If you like mayonnaise shrimp, I suggest their ivory shrimp. Instead of mayonnaise, it’s shrimp covered in honey mustard… GENUIS! The inside is pretty classy. Nothing tacky and it’s was a great place for my 10+ group. I did not try their cocktails but they have a decent sized alcohol bar. Wok Inn gets my approval.

This place offers great quality food for fair, if not cheap, prices. Although dinner entrees can range from $ 9-$ 30, lunch combos are less than $ 6 and dinner combos less than $ 10! The food is well flavored, and never over or under cooked. Portions are generous and not too greasy. You definitely get the feeling that it’s a family-owned business when you walk in, but not in a bad way. The atmosphere is quiet, with zen-like instrumentals playing in the background. They offer friendly and efficient service. You’ll even find the owner walking around from time to time greeting customers and checking up on them. Wok Inn is a nice restaurant, with comfortable dine in seating. There are 2 private lots on either side of the building, so there’s always plenty of parking. This place is a really nice change of pace from the greasy and questionable chinese restaurants that I’ve encountered in the area. If you’re looking for tasty asian cuisine, without having to worry about what’s in your dish, you should definitely check it out!
