Best place ever! We take the best of care of every animal that comes through the doors. They feel and look great after there spa day. And always love coming back in!

This is my new favorite dog grooming salon! I have an obscenely hairy, 60lb chow who we take hiking and camping with us, so his baths and grooming appointments are well-​deserved.
The Groom Station has done an excellent job of trimming my pup’s hair so he has that irresistible teddy-​bear face and well-​trimmed belly to keep him cool through the hot months without ruining his chance of regrowing it in time for snowshoeing with us in the winter. Most important though, is how gentle they are with him. Before I adopted him from a shelter, my pup was neglected and is now terrified of people he’s never met before. The groomers here though are very gentle and were excellent about letting him acclimate to them before taking his leash.
All of this while also being surprisingly affordable. I already have his next appointment scheduled!

Absolutely the best pet grooming business in the area. Amy and her team are great with both of our dogs. You will not be disappointed as they show tender loving care towards your pet!

I can’t believe no one has Unilocal-​d The Groom Station on Unilocal yet! This place is a gem and am thrilled to have found them as groomers for our two dogs.
I’ve tried multiple groomers in Iowa City/​Coralville, but am never 100% happy with their cuts and prices. A nurse who works with my fiancé, who was a former groomer, told my fiancé this is the only place to go– and she is right! We’ve been going for 5+ months now, and am very happy with their quality of cuts. Just like any good human cut– you won’t have to upkeep as much.
Amy (the owner) is fantastic. Kind and always done on time. She is gentle with our senior dogs– both of which are very skiddish. Her shop is adorable, clean and the staff is always quick and kind to help. While I think her prices increased for 2011 ($ 39 for a small dog), I’m certain that you get what you pay for!
