We went yesterday for an early dinner, around 5pm. The hostess was very friendly, and quickly seated us in a nice booth. Our server Amie was awesome, and described all the daily specials. She served us expertly, quickly and didn’t hover. I had the Italian special which was a glorious combo of mac ‘n cheese, chicken parm, and lasagna, with a nice green salad starter. Hubs had the fish and chips and a salad. Food was hot and delicious. This was our first time at Ramblin’ Roads, but won’t be our last.

This place is slow slow slow and slower. Took 15 minutes to get a glass of water and another 45 minutes to get our food. Do not goto this place for breakfast unless you have 2 hours. The place is not even busy, they are just slow! I’ll be back in one sec also means I will be back in 15 – 20 minutes. Never coming back again.

Here we go folks! Ramblin Roads is at it again! Love this place from the coffee to the customer service. These folks have a customer for life!

This place is BYFAR the best place in the area for breakfast. In a desolate wasteland of crap fast food, podunked family restaurants and big box stores, this place stands alone atop a pedestal of deliciousness. The Americans in our group loved their straightforward ode to the classic breakfast we know and love. Our Canadian friend remarked that this was the«most American breakfast I’ve ever had!» while downing a Bloody Mary with a giant bacon strip coming out of it. All this and a killer oldies playlist that even the most discerning morning DJ would approve of means this is a must go spot.

And again I decided to give them a try since they are on top of the bar I come to and AGAIN– The waitress and her attitude Has to GO! The MENUDOESNOTSAY– powder sugar on the LUNCHMENU! but when they bring it it has Powdered sugar in the Monte Cristo– yeah no! I don’t like sweet with that and no where in the menu did it say it’s like a «French Toast» type– with sweet. The portions are SMALL and for 8– or so bucks this place sucks all around — service and the food plus the potions! Bye

This is our new favorite place to eat! The food is excellent and the service is good. It has a nice, quiet atmosphere. The breakfast omelets are great. My personal fav is «The Everything Omelet» with coffee and a scone. I’ve also had the fish and chips. It was excellent.

Had dinner there tonight after reading the reviews. The food was great. The avocado egg roll appetizer was great as reported. I had the fish tacos. They had panko breading as stated in the menu but still good and larger than most fish tacos. It came with rice and a small salad. My wife had the salmon and it was very good with avocado and tomato topping. It came with a larger salad and mashed potatoes. The place is huge and was fairly busy. The service was friendly, It was a little slow, but they has some large groups to attend to.

A group of coworkers and I decided to go out to breakfast on a Friday morning around 10 and thought we would try this place since it’s right around the corner from our office. The prices were fairly inexpensive, but matched the portion sizes that were offered. The food itself was ok, I ordered the corned beef and hash which wasn’t bad, but too heavy on the margarine for the eggs. The service however, was a 1. Our server was clearly sick, she kept sniffing and touching her nose, and she was shaking so badly that she spilled all the coffees all over. There were only 3 of us ordering but it seemed difficult to get the orders down, and she seemed put out we were even there. The one girl had commented«she was the cranky girl they had last time». She brought us the check and told us she had to go, so we felt rushed to finish and pay. Here you pay up front at the register and we asked her to separate the check into 3. We could have mentioned that earlier, but it should not have been a big deal. She was so mad she just huffed and puffed and got pretty upset that she started shaking again. I finally just offered to put it all on my card but she insisted on changing it, but quite honestly her attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Even if the food had been 5 stars, the service would have ruined it. I don’t know her story or what she had going on, but patrons should never be treated that way, you put on a smile and do your job. I will not be returning.

My wife and I tried Ramblin Roads for the first time on Saturday morning. The food was good and the portions were huge. The service was great and the food came out quickly. I accidentally left my box of extra food when we left, the service brought it out to the parking lot while we were driving away. This kind of service will ensure that we will be back!

I’m giving this place 3 stars only because the food is decent for diner type food. We came in for our first time in a slow Saturday afternoon. We placed our order and I wished I had timed it because there really was no reason for our food to have taken so long.(I have been a waitress before, so I’m not being insensitive) So service, not stellar. The scones are good, the eggs Benedict was good, oh did I mention the scones were good? If you’re in a hurry, I don’t suggest coming here.

My husband and I have followed Ramblin Roads for years. We love going here for the great food, service and prices. My husband loves the Country Platter and I am a HUGE fan of the everything omelet. Our youngest daughter loves to get their fish tacos and our oldest loves the burgers. We always leave extremely full and satisfied. We have had great service — when we ask for something extra(like the amazing strawberry jelly) they always bring it right out. The servers there work hard and are some of the most genuine people I have ever met. In short — go to Ramblin Roads — they are worth it!

This place was highly recommended by a friend of mine. The first meal I had was lunch. I ordered a Patty Melt with. Side of Potato Salad. The sandwich was made with Marble Rye and it was outstanding. The Potato Salad was a nice surprise. It was not«runny» and was made with dill pickle and a hint of vinegar. I’ve eaten there several times including Breakfast and have not had a bad meal.

My wife and I went to Ramblin Roads for breakfast today, and we absolutely loved it! The food was great, the service wonderful, and the prices quite reasonable. Our waitress Jess was very personable and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the rustic, diner style ambiance. Highly recommended!

I just discovered that the place where«The Crazy Omelet» used to be is now«Ramblin Roads». It is in the old BPOE Lodge upstairs to the North, and has a western décor. I had breakfast there and had the breakfast burrito. It had ham, cheese, egg and hash browns in it. It was covered with chili verde and cheese and served with your choice of hash browns or Ramblin Potatoes(country potatoes with onions and peppers). The burrito was mid size, but with the Ramblin Potatoes that I chose, it was very filling. It is seat yourself, and there weren’t many customers there while I was there, so the waitress was right there with a menu to get my drink order. I just ordered water to drink and she served a glass of ice water along with a carafe of ice water as well. Although the carafe didn’t have much ice and it was all melted by about the time the food got there, which was average delivery time. The burrito tasted very good as did the Ramblin Potatoes. I had to wait a minute or two for the check at the end, but overall service was average. The food and price was slightly above average in my opinion based on a first time visit. I will certainly return, and would recommend it for breakfast, although it looks like they are open all day long. I might have to check it out for lunch another day.
