I will keep this review very short and sweet. I have been going to WLBS for over 33 years. The new owner, Terrie, has been cutting my hair for 27 years. I plan to get my hair cut here until she hangs up her shears. A relationship between a man is his barber/​barbershop is a surprisingly meaningful, so I get why people are upset with the recent changes. However, the thought of going anywhere else because these minor changes is a joke. Haters gonna hate. Keep up the great work, Terrie.

This place has been sold to one of the employees. What was once a well run local business is now a joke. They have trimmed their hours back to suit the employees and not the customers. Today I went there (Saturday) and I see that there is a sign in the window saying closed at 2 PM on Saturdays. Well it was just past 2 PM and they would not take me. OK, I am now looking for another place to get my hair cut. Suit yourself…

When we first moved here my mother and I were frantic about finding a place to cut my brothers hair before school started. We went there because it was close to home but I guess it needs to be mentioned that we’re black and the people there looked as if they’ve never had a black client before. Which apparently was the case because… I mean they did the best they could I guess. Anyway, my point is if you get into a business you should be willing and able to accommodate any customer without making them feel uncomfortable.

Great, friendly place with talented barbers. I’ve been going there for several years and have always been pleased. There is great conversation and at times I feel like I’d like to hang out after my haircut just to enjoy their company!
