Sylvan Learning of West Bloomfield

I’ve tried many different tutoring programs for my kids and have loved Sylvan the best so far. There was one tutoring program that my boys (age 11,8) were in where I seriously was fighting with them daily to do their daily rote homework. We gave that up thankfully. Brought them to Sylvan and Alex, the one who runs this branch, was so helpful and so knowledgeable as to where my kids need to be and how to get them there. My kids enjoy going to sylvan now (no joke, it’s so weird!) and are progressing beautifully. What I love about sylvan is that they test the kids ok their levels and give you a goal and am method to get the students to their desired goals. One of my sons complained that things were too easy and all I did was email them and tell them and they immediately tested my son and told me what level he as at. Also what I love about sylvan is that they are a lenient in the days and times you can attend. They have many open time slots and also you can not go on your assigned dahs if the kids aren’t feeling good etc with prior notice. That helps a lot and I don’t lose any money by them not going. It just goes towards the next class. All in all, great program, super nice staff, clean and happy environment.
