I used Four Seasons to refinish a room where the hardwood had been covered over with carpet(tons of staples) and stairs which had carpet pieces applied with tape; both of which I hated and wanted to get the hard wood floors looking new again. I would use them again for another job. Communication /scheduling-the communication was not stellar; the start date kept changing, most communication is over text(that I don’t really mind), the estimates were done over the phone(flat rate of $ 2 per square foot for a room but I wasn’t sure about the stair costs). I would have preferred more solid start and stop times but I know they are working multiple jobs and that’s not always possible. However they fit in my job a week after I called which was very fast. Level of craftsmanship: high. I was extremely pleased with how the floors turned out; they look absolutely stunning and I have no complaints whatsoever. I am attaching before and after pictures to show how amazing it looks. Value: I was pleased with the cost; it ran me $ 470 for a room and about 13 stairs to refinish and clear coat them. It made a world of difference. Overall, the gentlemen were friendly and great to work with. I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend using them as long as you are ok with a bit of uncertainty with scheduling.

Easy Peasy & Cheap! Our floors are unbelievably nice now. Before we started our home renovation I was considering tearing out the floors and replacing them with new because our existing was in pretty rough shape. We opened up our floor plan and had no wood in the kitchen, holes for 2 cold air floor returns and had various other damage spots/scuffs/stains. Also our floors were light gold but our baseboards and trim were a reddish oak. That always bugged me! I ordered wood for the kitchen floor and other repairs from Lumber Liquidators but I had a ton of problems with them so I got a refund on my install and hired Four Seasons instead. Rob was able to get me in within 2 weeks even though it’s a very busy time of year. He gave me his price right over the phone. Only $ 1.85/sf for sanding & refinishing plus $.25/sf for custom stain. That’s almost $ 1/sf less than other Unilocal reviews I read. He did the new flooring install and all the repairs at a price match to Lumber Liquidators. The whole thing took 4 days, 1 for install & repairs, 1 for sanding & staining, 1 day for 1st coat polyurethane, 1 day for 2nd coat polyurethane. His guys were pros. I’d ask about damage spots for them to fix and they just said No Problem. Where the new floor ties into the old you cannot see the difference and you’d think all the floors went in at the same time. I picked Early American for my stain which was a close match to the existing 1923 oak wood trim. It looks amazing. I look at these floors now and I can’t believe they are the same ones I had a week ago. It would have cost me probably 3x more had I ripped them out and installed new. I feel lucky that this all fell into place. Rob was also the easiest subcontractor I’ve had and we never even met in person. He was very helpful on the phone and gave me some great recommendations for finding matching trim. If you want a guy to hold your hand, you may not be satisfied with his streamlined approach. But all I wanted was good looking, like new floors at a great price so I’m 100% happy! I’ll post pics asap.
