Be Free is one of my favorite small boutiques. I try to visit every time I’m in town. It is stocked with a wide variety of athletic brands (solow, alternative apparel, splits59, margarita) — great alternatives to lululemon. Val is super friendly and helpful and will special order items in your size. As a fan of running, spinning, yoga & tennis I am almost guaranteed to find something every time I stop in to shop.

Another of my favorite shops on Orchard lake rd. GREAT selection of workout wear, or in my case, lounge wear. lol. The owner of this store attends tons of trade shows and stays on top of trends in active wear. She stocks solow, and Bench as well as a ton of other hot labels. Every time Ive been in Be Free, I am greeted, assisted and treated as a valued guest. I never leave without a bag! I love how this store manages to cater to someone like me who wants tight, low cut and kind of sexy yoga type clothes, as well as a more conservative woman who wants to be covered and comfortable. I hope this store stays around forever!
