Reggie and I met Liz and Steve in 2014 and they both helped train us for the therapy dog test. Reggie had fun but trained hard at the same time. If one method of motivation didn’t work they always had many ideas to change things up. He loved coming to class because they are both such great dog people! He passed the test and we love therapy work. We attend more classes to keep up on our skills and Reggie loves it. Highly recommend Bloomfield Dog Training!

Steve and Liz at Bloomfield Dog Training did a phenomenal job leading us in the A.K.C Puppy S.T.A.R class. The class has provided with a number of tactics that we continually use with our dog to reinforce his training. We are excited to continue taking our dog through the additional classes they offer.
Their love for dogs is contagious!

This is the best place to take your dog if you want practical training that will not turn your dog into a robot. We had an issue with our 10 month old Golden Retriever «counter surfing» as well as jumping on people when they came over. Liz and Steve listened to our concerns and worked with us on the best way to fix the issue. They worked out a plan for our dog not instead of just throwing out some catch all technique in the hopes of trying to fix it. They get results. A great upstart that is worth checking out… unless your guests enjoy getting knocked over as soon as they step I the door.
