Chicken Tika is my favorite.($ 6.95) It is very tender, melt in your mouth delicious. My husband and I have been coming here for the last 2 years. The food is always served hot. We love the rice. Everything is made from scratch. My husband is diabetic and we don’t have to worry about the food spiking his sugar. Soup is served hot and yummy.(Lemon rice and lentil). Chicken kabobs are very tender. Chicken pita is my favorite sandwich. Employees are very friendly. Service is great. Healthy delicious food at low prices.

Pretty sure the owner gave it 5 stars. I’ve eaten at dozens of middle Eastern restaurants all over metro detroit and this was by far the worst I’ve ever had. The lemon rice soup tastes like it had urine in it! I should have known it was going to be bad because it was completely empty during lunch. I had limited time to eat so I decided to give it a chance. Big mistake! They also had a sign out front saying all sandwiches are $ 3.50 yet they charged me $ 4. The service was probably the worst I’ve ever had. The waiter/receptionist seemed like he was on drugs and hardly said a word. He had his feet up on the counter. Pretty sure I’m going to get food poisoning. Wish me well. Seems like this place is a front for some shady criminal activity. Don’t waste you time or money on this place. Also, this is the first review I have ever wrote so you know this place must be bad.

The kabob was warm had no flavor. It tasted old and reheated. I have yet to taste a good kabob anywhere Michigan(which is surprising because it’s all arabic people here). I guess I have to fly to California for good authentic arabic food

wow! i never make reviews but this was so bad i had to say something! im arabic and this gives arabic food a bad name ! the food took 45 min to make and i got there before it was ready and it came out cold the minute i held the tray. we got the combo for 2 people tray… gus/shawarma still had chunks of fat in it no flavor at all in anyyyy of the meat, cream chop was so small looked like it was frozen no flavor, fries looked like they were made 2 months ago(looked grey) and heated up to serve they were cold too. i mean they don’t even know how to fry fries!!!, side of cury was cold and tasted like canned tomato soup with oil, ranch taste horrible almost like hidden valley ranch not the arabic ranch people go crazy for like sahara. the owners are older and hardly speak english, they dont know how to cook. kabob was so hard and dry and no flavor!!! dont ever come here go to white palace or princess on orchard lake it’s so much better! i’m sorry but not sorry that this place does not deserve to be standing these people don’t know how to cook arabic food. we came here for the reasonable price of $ 5 less than other places and we really got what we paid for very cheap and not well made! i rather have paid extra money for amazing arabic food! i repeat do not come here and waste your money and time!!!

This is one of my new favorite places for Middle Eastern cuisine. Outside of Dearborn, this place is just as tasty. Just to let you know… I am a Middle Eastern food enthusiast and have sampled many of the restaurants in the tri-county area. Al-Atshan has now become one of my favorites, outside of Dearborn. They serve Iraqi style food with halal meats. My husband and I decided to give this place a try the other day and all I have to say is YUM! Their hummus is good and so is their pickle plate. My husband ordered the deboned chicken with a salad and I had the shish kafta with lentil soup. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. The salad was made on the spot, and was not sitting around like some other places do. The lentil soup was fantastic. It had vermicelli in it, which I never had in a lentil soup, but it gave the soup great texture. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food took a little while to come to the table, but it was made fresh, so it was well worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable to any of the other restaurants around the area. Please give this place a try and see how yummy the food is!!!
