This store is a wonderful addition to West Bend, in a super location! I was very impressed with the store layout, and the selection of books; it takes very talented buyers to provide a current and yet broad based selection to meet the needs of a variety of customers.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgable — always willing to assist and also to provide thoughtful suggestions. I appreciate them providing me with a few options when I mention a particular genre that I am seeking — they don’t just give me information on what is new or current. These are very broad based, well read booksellers.
The icing on the cake, which is really hard for an independent bookstore to do — the «Bonus Bucks» card; you receive $ 5.00 off after you earn 12 stamps! And they even give double stamps on Wednesday!
This is a great addition to West Bend, particularly since the closing of Fireside Books.

Store has nice selection of books and magazines and various other items. The customer service is lacking. Saw four employees working while I was there. Not one ever offered to help me find what I was looking for or even asked if I needed help. I did not approach any of them and ask for assistance as they seemed to not want to be bothered. One lady even walked by me 4 times and the first time I made a comment out loud that I wondered if I was in the right area. She slowed down then but never helped and then continued on her way. They seemed more focused on placing items then helping any customers. Their were quite a few customers in store at time and no one was being helped. I did not buy any items but my daughter did make a purchase. The cashier at counter was not very friendly. She seemed bothered she had to place books aside on counter to check out my daughters purchase. I know this store is quite new and I understand filling shelves and such but customers should come first.
