HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE! It is considered the worst nursing home on Long Island. I would not send anyone there for anything. The staff did not pick up that my 89-​year old uncle had 3 gangrenous toes. He died from it in March. Neither the staff, administrators & the doctor that they use picked up on it. Good Sam Hosp., & APS (adult protective service) were the ones who sent him there & left him without checking to see that his care was up to par. If you know someone who is being sent there, stop it immediately & find some other place for them.

I was forced to given a star because I had to. This place is absolutely horrendous. My father was supposed to be in this rehab due to amputation of his leg and to get his overall strength back after being in the hospital for 11 weeks. He had bed sores that were healing well before going into this rehab center. Due to improper care of his sores leaving him unbandaged one day, another day they left him sitting in a drenched diaper because it was convenient for them to put him in one. When he could go very well go to the bathroom on his own just needed a little assistance. After being in this place, he only lasted 4 days until he was sent back to the emergency room and diagnosed him as septic due to a serious infection in his bed sores. He is now in the ICU and suffering. The place was not clean and their staff is very rude to the patients and their loved ones. They need to shut this place down. Do your research before a loved one in here.
