On friday I bought a ps3 controller and it was busted. So I brought it back on sunday and the employee says we can only exchange it for another and I point to their policy and I mention that it says no cash refunds on Video games, movies and compact discs. Then I said a ps3 controller isn’t a video game and I received a cash refund. But the way he treated me was bull shit he made a comment like «now the controller is busted» like it was my fault that they don’t quality control their products.

I get this is a pawn store but it is a bit annoying to have someone literally breathing down your neck when you’re looking in cases. I appreciate having time to discuss a purchase (particularly an expensive one) and think it through before I ask to have a case opened.
I was actually interrupted while looking at items in a case and asked, «so are you ready to actually pick on now?»
I did find what I wanted and it does work. They have a weird way of using their credit/​debit system though… two machines in two different places in the store? Weird.
This was my first pawn shop experience and I was underwhelmed.

I come here to stock up on 99 cent DVDs. The place is slightly organized but kind of dirty and very small. The staff that I’ve interacted with have been nice, but it’s hard to get their attention sometimes if you have a question.

this store is moving up in the world. In the last year it started out as opening with very lousy products, but since then the products have improved greatly and the sales people are more helpful. I bought a television here and it stopped working in about a week. I took it back to the store and they exchanged it right away, with no problems! The new one has worked great since. and they even gave me some free dvds to watch on it! I’ve been coming in a lot and also found a sony surround for 80 $ I also pawn here when I need to, so far no issues.

This place is very small and has very little to offer. I have been to the Pawn America in the Appleton area and it is larger and has more merchandise. For a fairly new location it looks worn down.
