We discovered this gem of a handyman via Menards’ reference sheet when we were looking for someone to install a new door and storm door for us. As it turned out, Ken Schultz (the owner/​proprietor of the outfit) is more than amenable to homeowner hand-​holding, and actually helped us figure out that a key door-​frame depth measurement was wrong, and saved us the massive headache of having to wait once for a special order delivery only to have it not work for our circumstance. Beyond the phone call of coaching to ensure correct measurements for the initial order, Ken was true to his estimate, arrived punctually to render his services, and (truly amazing based on what we’ve experienced with other contractors) brought his own shop vac with him to clean up after himself at every stage of the demolition and installation operation.
