Cat network is an extremely friendly and caring cat adoption organization. Originally got connected with the organization through the Milwaukee pet expo and immediately bonded with one of the volunteers. After seeing how caring and knowledgable the volunteer was I knew I had found my adoption location. When we arrived at Cat Network, there were cats perched in the storefront window and volunteers sitting casually around petting and caring for the kitties. From what I picked up one woman runs the shelter and the rest are volunteers… I don’t know how they do it! Most cats are allowed to roam around outside of cages unless they have medical problems. They asked what I wanted, my preferences and began pointing out cats that might be a good fit. Immediately, my kitty stood out and we bonded. She needed to have her shots updated so they offered to update her shots and we arranged a later date to pick her up. The day we scheduled, I ended up having to wait an hour after our arranged time. I share this only to recommend that you give your self plenty of time for pick up. Since they have limited staff and want to ensure the cat is fully prepped to go it may take longer than you are expecting. Now on to how amazing my cat ended up being. Since she spent her whole life with the Cat network, she is extremely socialized and thriving in her new home. It took her one day to come out of her now favorite hiding spot and she gives so much love. I think she is doing so well because of the love that the cat network gave her while she called it home. I would highly recommend working with the cat network if you are interested in adopting a great new addition to your home.

A no-kill shelther with lots of friendly, very adoptable cats. The volunteers and owner really care about kitties and do their best to find them good homes and make their lives at the shelter as happy as they can until they do find homes. They also work with feral cats, which is amazing because not everywhere will. They’re in need of donations to keep the sweet kitties happy and healthy, so chip in if you can. They’re worth supporting! Whether you’re looking for just one kitty or a bunch, The Cat Network has wonderful options.
