Two weeks ago I posted a negative review about Centra Care, Wesley Chapel and the social media representative who monitors the feeds saw my posting and SEEMED very concerned about my negative comments and sent me a private message to see if they could assist me. In a gesture of good faith, I removed my negative comments about how they refused to verify my Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance since it was the fourth day of 2016 and I still had not received my 2016ID card. They would not accept my 2015 Blue Cross card and made me pay $ 352.00 at the front desk in order for me to be seen by a Nurse Practitioner to get three prescriptions for my blood pressure medication until my primary doctor could see me. I had just been discharged from Florida Hospital, Wesley Chapel about two weeks earlier so I know that my Blue Cross policy was already in their system. This person was so apologetic and concerned and said they would look into my complaint and contact me. Well, I assume they took my kindness as a weakness and in two weeks I never heard from them again. Today I logged into my Blue Cross/Blue Shield account only to see that they then billed my insurance $ 513.00 for a ten minute conversation with a nurse,(I was never even seen by a doctor) on top of charging me $ 350.00 that I paid in full on my Visa Card. So now I.T. person from Centra Care, do you really think I will be kind enough to take this one down too? When my Co-pay is deducted from my payment and the balance is credited to my Visa Card and the Easter Bunny Hop Hop Hops down my driveway, I might consider it. You have my email address and telephone number.

I have been having trouble getting over that stupid thing that has been going around this year, and after one visit to another Urgent Care, and following up when not better at the ER, I was still suffering — having a lot of trouble breathing and coughing all the time. I headed to Centra Care today because it had just gotten to be too much, and I needed to get it addressed, again. I got better care here than I got in the ER. Seriously. They quickly took me back, listened to my concerns, listened to my lungs and explained what was going wrong and how they’d fix it. And they did. They were great. At the ER I felt much more shuffled around and I don’t think they adequately addressed the problem. Actually, neither did the doctor today, ha. I’d really recommend them.

Nice place with great support staff. Unfortunately the doctor was two hours late and we sat in the room from 9a(our appt time) till about 11:20. I feel bad that the support staff who was so nice have to cover up for the doctor.

Absolutely my first choice for urgent care if I cannot get in with my primary care doctor. Best option of all: You can make a reservation online for this facility and there is minimal wait. If you make a reservation … you go ahead of all the walk in people sitting there for up to an hour.
