This place… Amazing! I had a balayage that was sloppy and was done half-assed. I had Jessica from platinum salon to correct this mess of hair, although sadly she moved. Anyways, jessica was brilliant. She fixed everything in one session. I almost wanted to cry tears of joy. I constantly get compliments for my hair and i always recommend this place. If your hair color was messed up, platinum salon is THE place to go to to have them fix it and go above and beyond your expectations. From the few times ive been there, every person that works there knows what their doing and the results i see from their customers are absolutely gorgeous.

Platinum Salon is the only hair salon I have gone for a second appointment in my life. I have always cancelled on other salons because I’m never happy with the results. It takes me an hour to get there and I don’t even mind I’ve been going for a few months now and I’m head over heels. I found Cassandra on instagram and I feel truly blessed that I did, she makes me feel and look so good that the price is never an issue. Of course it’s going to be more than Fantastic Sams or even a place like Salon West but it’s so worth it. Even the way it is decorated and set up is perfection. Cassi is a very lovely and talented artist. Guy Tang has complimented her work, on my hair nonetheless! Each time I go I look at the other stylists’ work and they’re just as talented, she walks through her processes, explains the products she’s using and gives out tips to them. I would give this place 100 stars if I could!

Jessica is awesome. I think this salon is great, very unified team. The owner is a doll too, love this place.

I’ve continued to visit Cassandra for my regular cut and color and I am still very happy with the end result. She is extremely professional and I can say she seems to run a wonderful salon based on my multiple visits. I would highly recommend them and encourage you to visit her Instagram to see before and after pics.

The first time I came here I did love the décor. It looks like a chic salon, and given the area, that is hard to find. I first saw Amanda. I liked the color correction she did for me my first visit. Second visit I went back for a basic trim and asking if I could get some of the reddish tones out of my hair. She was obviously nervous to cut my very blunt bangs, but besides that, whatever I was charged for, I still did not get the redness out of my hair that resulted from the first time she did my hair. So I went a third time, and I was blatantly obvious that I wanted to go lighter and I’d like to start working on getting the red tones out of my hair. Going from brunette to blonde requires a couple visits and I fully understand that. I’m in my 30’s and I’ve gone back and forth between blonde and brunette. I know it’s a process. The third visit is where everything went wrong. Amanda lifted my roots and put formula directly on my scalp. I ended up with chemical burns that evening. She spent hours on my hair and after it was dry it looked EXACTLY the same. The owner of the salon checks in periodically through the process and they talk a lot about what to do and so on. I specifically remember the owner saying to use«4» and while mixing up my formula I watched Amanda use«4n». The area they put color in your hair has no mirrors so you can’t really see what they are doing. No other salon I’ve been to has been like this. It’s not exactly comforting not knowing what’s going on with your color that’s being applied when you can’t see what’s happening. Fast forward, my hair was dried. I was disappointed, to say the least, because I said I wanted to go lighter and I was the same color that I walked in with. Also, I like blended highlights. There was an inch stripe on the side of my head that was a mistake on her part. She put darker toner to blend it in. Hours later I go to check out. And I was charged for extra formula. Yes, I was charged for a mistake she made. Also, I asked for a haircut, but because she had a new client coming in I felt I was rushed out of there. She didn’t offer to trim my bangs(I have a very heavy bang). The whole day was a disaster and a very expensive one at that. So I contacted the salon. I left a voicemail just saying I wanted to talk to someone. I called later and talked to the receptionist, and no one called me back. I wrote a message to them asking to be contacted on Facebook. I heard nothing. I’m blatantly being ignored. They have my money and I suppose that’s all they care about. But the last service to go «lighter» cost me 300 and that’s what I’m most upset about. I asked for someone to fix it or to give me my money back. No response. I get it’s a new business and everything. But no attempt was made to fix a valid complaint I had. So this salon has almost 1000 of my money over 3 visits. I was happy with the results the first visit. The other two, I guess that’s just money lost. So if you have money to throw away give this place a shot. But if you’re unhappy, don’t expect the owner to try to fix it. It’s quite simple really. Just some communication. They won’t once they have your money. I can only say I saw Amanda and she messed up. But the owner is Cassandra and did nothing to help fix the situation. Not even a phone call. I have done everything but gone back in there, which shouldn’t be necessary and I don’t want to cause a scene. But we aren’t talking about supercuts here. We are talking about hundreds of dollars. And when something isn’t right, I don’t understand why the business won’t do anything to fix it. Especially when I’ve made it obvious.
