Chick & Peas Grill

I’ve been wanting to try this for a while; stopped in yesterday for lunch and now I am excited that this little Mediterranean place is so close to home. I had the falafel platter — it came with side salad, rice, hummus, ½ pita, and four falafels. They were so tasty — just the right amount of crisp on the outside and the inside was still moist and flavorful.

Great food and the owners are wonderful. My favorite is the mix grill. Husband is crazy for the fresh humus, eggplant, and yogurt dips with his chips. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Fresh and delicious food. We will definitely be back again. I think it’s important to support non chain local businesses.

I ordered the mixed grill kabob and it was excellent. The food tasted very fresh. Wife loved her chicken kabob and especially the soup. Would have given 5 stars but the décor was somewhat bland. But you can’t beat the food. And they keep it very clean. Will return

The baba gonoush was delicious! The gyro platter was a great value and the service was very friendly. We’ll be back!

Really good. Super nice people. Sodas are $ 2 and are cans/​bottles, so if you need more than one, it’s expensive! It’s a decent amount of food for the money. Taste and quality is great.

I’ve never eaten Mediterranean, but thought I’d try. Chicken shwarma was delicious, food was fresh and owners/​servers were very nice. They explained everything, even how to make and cook dishes. We also ate the falafel and tried Turkish coffee.

This place is truly great. It is family run, food is delicious and portions are generous and owners are very sweet! One day I even came twice first for a babaganoush snack and then for a kabab plate. Next day (today, now) I came for another plate. Plates come with rice, hummus and salad, I just wish that place was in my neighborhood (I am from Boston). 5 stars!!!

What a great little restaurant, the food was really good. My wife and I had the hummus with beef shawarma and it was very fresh and tasty. The pita bread that was served with it was warm and delicious. We both had the chicken shawarma sandwich for our entrees and they were fresh and tasty as well. The fries were hot and crisp which was a bonus. Owner and his wife provided excellent service as well. We were the only people in the restaurant as it was a late Monday afternoon. The restaurant was very clean, especially the kitchen. We will definitely be back!

One of the best locally owned restaurants in town. Everything is super fresh and delicious! The owners are very kind people too. My only suggestion would be to order ahead if possible) if you’re dropping in for a quick lunch) since everything is made fresh to order it can take a bit longer.

Went today and it was nice and cool inside! That was my main complaint before. The food is still consistently delicious. I often meet friends here for lunch dates.

Great little Mediterranean spot. Food is fresh, quick and authentic. Tons of choices on the menu including many vegetarian options. The staff was really warm, inviting, and courteous. A great addition to the Wesley Chapel community!

This is our first time here and we definitely will return. We kept it simple with a late lunch today. Tried the fresh made hummus and pita bread for an appetizer which was delicious. I had a gyro and my honey had the Mixed Grill entrée which included beef and chicken shish-​ka-​bobs, side salad, rice and hummus. We both loved our food. They weren’t busy since we were here at an off-​time. The service was a little slow in receiving our food at different times but we were in no hurry and our drinks and appetizer came out quickly. If you want your food fast, I would recommend calling ahead for pick up. The owner and his family were very accommodating and friendly. We are looking forward to come again to try some of the other food. If you like good Mediterranean food in a relaxed setting, try Chick and Peas.

So my first time at Chick & Peas and it was so worth it. The food we so fresh and tasted so good. The place is clean the owners are so friendly. My picky kids loved the food too. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant. It’s delicious.

If your looking for ambiance or high end luxuries then just pass by BUT if you want some INCREDIBLE, delicious, healthy and fantastic food then this is the place! Dinner is $ 10-​$ 15 and lunch is about half. You just can’t beat this quality at a fast food price. We had the mixed grill. With beef and chicken. Delicious pita with garlic butter and hummus and salad. All for $ 13.99??? Wtf? This is my new joint. Be a little daring and go try this place! You will be very pleased. Free parking and great friendly staff to boot. It is a pizzeria type atmosphere and they cook to order. Love this place!

Went looking for something different for diner one night and took a recommendation from someone on a local forum and buy was I pleased… The owners were on hand to make some the best middle eastern food in the Wesley Chapel/​Zephyrhills area. All the food is made fresh to order and very tasty. The falafels were light and fluffy with lots of flavor. The kabobs we ordered with awesome and large in portion size. After speaking with the owners I found out that they are new to the area. If there is one draw back it would be the rice that was served with the meals we ordered. It was just kind of plain long grain white rice with no spice or true flavor as we have had at other middle eastern restaurants, but don’t let that stop you from checking out this place you won’t be disappointed…

Came here on my lunch break to try it out and I was very impressed. I ordered the mixed grill plate and it was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff was very helpful and went over the menu. I will be returning soon to try different things on the menu. Although I suggest ordering to go because they don’t seem to have AC yet

In the land of chain restaurants, & just houses galore, finally a non chain restaurant that is a WIN. This new little Mediterranean family restaurant is a growing gem.
I was greeted so nicely & welcomed by the owners Lena & Naji. It was much appreciated. They offer home style Mediterranean family cooking. If you are not familiar with Mediterranean food, there are many pictures to show you. Pictures are gold!
I picked out the Fried Kibbee, basically a meat version of a falafel, the mixed grill which came with rice, salad, pita, & hummus, and a small baklava to go. I also got a good sample of the falafel so I can compare the taste to the fried kibbee. I had already asked the owner what his favorite was, and he said the chicken schwarma.
Everything was super tasty, but the chicken was definitely my favorite of the meats, the salad dressing was flavorful. The hummus was good. I liked the falafel better than the fried kibbee, and the baklava was a perfect sweet treat. The serving is a good size, and can definitely be split, or have it for a couple meals.
There are a handful of tables in this cozy clean restaurant. So if you want to eat in, definitely do so. There are a few desserts for sweet treat heaven. They also serve lunch specials as well.
