Great park! I’ve been running here since it first opened and it’s amazing to see how much it’s grown and developed! I gave it four stars because I prefer a little variety of dirt trails and there’s really only one here. If you don’t care then you’ll love it! It’s great for walking, running, and hiking. There is one main dirt trail that goes all the way around the park, plus a paved trail. Quail Ridge is also great for parties/BBQs. They have playgrounds for kids, frisbee golf, BBQ pits, pavilions, and a dog park.

Quail Ridge has a paved trail that goes some 2.5 miles around the park. The park is somewhat hilly. There’s a beautiful building for weddings, etc. Very fun to look inside! The dog park is nice too. My dogs have always acted ridiculous at dog parks by sitting on the park bench with me rather than by playing with other dogs, and I know of a dog who was attacked there, but that’s not the fault of the park. I’ve seen many people and dogs enjoying it.

I enjoy this park immensely, they have something for everyone. They have a nice dog park, multiple playgrounds and picnic areas, frisbee golf, and a pretty nice paved trail. I mostly come here to jog/walk on the paved trails, its pretty and its usually not horribly crowded so no weird looks at my sweaty grossness!

Nice green space area, with a couple of paved trails winding around the open areas and over some hills and through some woods … didn’t find grandma’s house, though. We’ve been here many times with the kids. There are some open, flat spaces where we’ve challenged other families to frisbee football. There are several hills which offer great sledding in the winter — the better hill is along the western side of the park, near the ‘back’. The dog park appears to be popular, as well. I have to give Quail Ridge credit for introducing me and my kids to a pair of activities that had previously never appeared on our collective radar. The first is disc golf. Quail Ridge has a course. Despite being untrained, and while still trying to apply decent course etiquette principles from … regular golf, the other more skilled players seem to tolerate our presence. We upgraded from our Wham-O frisbee to several sets of ‘official’ disc golf sets. We’ve enjoyed the experience … probably need to get some better training, though. Secondly, we’ve visited the National Horseshoe Pitching Hall of Fame, with it’s impressive pitching facility. Say what you will. I know, I probably did, too, before visiting. However, there are about a dozen outdoor lanes with easy access, and then another dozen indoor … yes, indoor horseshoe pitching lanes. Even better, though, are the people we’ve met, when poking our heads in to explore this place. Super cool, super friendly, easy-going people who have a passion for this sport and an eagerness to share that passion. We did receive some brief instructional, gratis. We have not yet signed up for a league … but I’m guessing it would fun, in a wholesome way. Quail Ridge also offers several playgounds, and there is some kind of community center … though, I’ve never attended events there. Great park! I’m happy to see my tax dollars at work here.

I really love this park. It has a great paved trail for walking, running or bike riding. All along the trail there are swings/play areas for kids. They have a dog park. You can rent shelters for parties. They have dirt trails too.
