Fairfield Inn & Suites

The hotel is very clean and has a new, modern interior design. The room was beautiful. The breakfast had lots of options, even for my picky eater children. The pool was small, but warm for an indoor pool so great for smaller kids.

I highly recommend this motel. I asked for an AARP discount when I called for the reservation (2queen beds) and the price was reasonable ($ 93 with AARP), but ***ask for the ‘front desk’ at the motel to make your reservation; if you choose the ‘reservations’ option you will get a ‘service’ and will pay about $ 40 more. Very lovely staff too. Wish I could find this quality everywhere!

Wentzville seemed like a nice enough suburb of St. Louis, and was a good place to stop on a road trip between Denver and Pittsburgh.
Pros:
–quiet, clean and comfortable, and the beds were nice.
–convenient location to I-​70 and several restaurants (Olive Garden, TGIF, Buffalo Wild Wings, fast food, etc)
–plenty of parking.
–price was right.
Cons:
–Water presure was a little sad.
–Breakfast was meh.
–The lady at the front desk was very nice but a little scattered– it took a couple of times to get checked in properly.
I’d probably want to stay closer to downtown if I was going on vacation, but this is a nice place to stay if you’re visiting the area or you just need to place to crash between two twelve-​hour drives.
