I want to give this place 5 stars, but I called several times for «hard to find» items, and was told they didn’t carry them. When I heard word around town that they have «everything» I visited in person, and an experienced 10+ yr staff member was called over and we found it all. I wasted 2 weeks in my garden for these items. I will go back, but don’t think the peeps who answer the phone are interested in customer service. The cashiers were friendly and went out of their way to find my ACE points, and get my account updated.

Used to be a big fan and longtime customer but that changed when they refused to take back a product (I had receipt and all tags) because of a poor design. Instead, I was left on my own to deal with the manufacturer. Way to stand behind your products and your customer! They aren’t a price leader (Coastal or Sportman’s win on price and inventory) and of course Amazon is way more convenient and always competitive on price too. But I try and support local business when possible, but not anymore Stan! You have lost a customer!

Best customer service store in the area! Everyone of the staff can tell you exactly where the item you want can be found, and they will also accompany you to make sure you find it! An added plus is that the staff enjoys working there — -that to me, shows that they have good management.

Everything but the… whoops! Including the kitchen sink. If you need it, want it, don’t need it, don’t want it, it’s all there. Camping equipment, substantial Carhartt selection. I don’t always buy something but I love looking!

I stopped here twice while we were camping in Wenatchee. Friendly staff and the hardware store provided everything we needed. I always like the small stores over the chains, the employees actually know where everything is and try to be helpful.

Stan’s is an odd blend of a sporting goods store, a hardware store, a general store and a second hand store. The service is superior, it’s got a quaint feel, and it’s amazing how the manage to have almost anything you need. It’s conveniently located near the downtown, unlike the box stores, and is a landmark in the community.
