Consumers, learn from our mistake. Do your homework, get several bids, as we were too trusting and received huge, over the top mark-ups on our window blind purchase. After the excitement commitment fact, we came to realize our blind purchase seemed rather high. We then put the blinds out for competitive bids and found a huge range of estimates; theirs being the very highest of all.(Again: our fault.) However, after some negotiating on the initial price and installation of said blinds, we found that one of our large windows was all together forgotten. The installation person did not bring this issue to our attention; he left without saying a word about this to us; and there were two big windows in this room, as he installed a blind on one of the two. We called the store to report a window blind was missed and their response was very nonchalant or not even a «we are sorry». Nothing! Needless to say, we were disappointed. But there again; taking our side of the responsibility, we did not double check their work to ensure all windows were being measured for blind quote and installation. We assumed that professionals would do their work correctly. Moral of this story, do your homework and get several bids, count all windows needing blinds to ensure you are getting quoted on ALL windows prior to a commitment.
