Great atmosphere, bar area plus tables and booths. Try the cauliflower and cheese appetizer if you’re looking for a new tasty treat. The burgers are huge, as is the Philly steak & cheese.
Easy to find, close to Main St. Off street parking. All good.

We wish their were more local places like the Wellsboro House.
It is hard to know where to start… The food is good (the burgers are fantastic) though not particularly fancy. The bar is well stocked, the beer options interesting, the owner and staff friendly and the building itself has been beautifully restored and has a fascinating history. Plus it is one of the few local places to find live music on weekends.
I do wish they had a few vegetarian options on their menu but otherwise it really is the perfect local restaurant.
If you are just visiting our fair little town, give it a try!
