Apple Fritters, Kolaches, Cinnamon Rolls and Twists, hurrah! Wells Best Donut has everything I’m looking for to start the morning off right. Running out of a converted barber shop, beside the now boarded up Dairy Queen, this place is a blessing, giving a local option to residents that don’t want to drive fifteen minutes just to pick up a quick bite for breakfast. The only competition in town is the hot deli at the Polk Pick-it-Up, and as good as Egg Rolls and Burritos are for breakfast, sometimes something a little different is nice. They’ve been in town for a few years now and by the looks of it they’re not going anywhere anytime soon, hopefully they’re here for the long haul, mornings are brighter just knowing they’re around.
