Beach Acres Tent Sites & Trailer Park Trlr Pks

My teenage daughter and I camped 2 nights in the ‘tent section’ of the park. It was a spur-​of –the-​moment trip, so I’m happy that I did not have to rely on reservations to save a spot (the campground does not take reservations, though one can phone a couple days ahead of time to save a space).
The best part of Beach Acres Campground is that it is handy to many of the attractions of coastal Maine in the Wells/​Ogunquit area. The trolleys run on a convenient schedule, and can easily transport one to beaches, shopping, restaurants and other attractions.
The campground has a clean modern toilet/​shower/​laundry facility, though it is somewhat farther away from the tent section of the campground than is convenient– a walk through the dark for a middle-​of-​the-​night potty trip seemed like a long trek, indeed! In spite of that, we loved the stay and will most likely be repeat guests.
