World Of Beer

I am so conflicted about this place. They have such great beer selections and they make them wonderfully. However, the service is deplorable each and every time I go here.

This place sucks. Band was good until they stopped playing at 11. Service is terrible. Drinks sucked. Almost like they didn’t want us here. Avoid at all cost.

Mario, Alyse, and Paul rock my socks. Been coming here for three years and they’re the best!

This place is awesome. Always have a great time here Paul and Mario are very knowledgable on their beers and always have an excellent selection of local beers. If you are indecisive just ask and they will help make the best decision for you! Also, they have food trucks come occasionally and TC Melts every Wednesday set up out front (dank grilled cheeses). If you haven’t been, you have to come check it out.

We ran into some old friends, early that day & decided to reconnect at WOB! We sat inside by the band. We ordered grape fruit beers and Tito’s & Red Bull. The drinks came out fast. Good vibes!
Great selections of liquor, beer and wine. Majority of WOB, do not offer any liquor.
They had a live band, playing cool ‘Rock’ songs!
Ex: candle box, pearl jams and more.
They do not sell food however, they can provide you with a few menus from all the local restaurants; that will deliver food directly to your table. Super cool!
They host cool events all the time. For Example: Bingo with beer bottle caps, a lot of fun. You can win cool prizes!
Their service: is a hit or missed, but mostly good! Great the last few visits.

Ceiling Fans and Bug Zappers.
Please clean the outdoor furniture. The sofas are always dirty! I understand that we live in South Florida. We have Warm & Bipolar Weather! Please consider!
I bet a lot of customers would hangout a lot longer. $$

Mario was fabulous!!! He picked every beer for us and was right on!!! Very knowledgeable! Best time!!!

So I gave it a second try, I will not be back.
We arrived around 6:30 and sat outside, it was a rainy night so the place was pretty empty. It took forever for the waitress to come over to us. My husband and I are not drinking for the month of February so we ordered cokes while we waited for our friends to arrive. When our friends arrived and the waitress finally acknowledged our existence, our friends tried to order their beers. I say tried because again, it was next to impossible to order a beer. The blueberry draft beer that we had tried to order previously was still out. Our other friend tried to order a beer that was listed on a huge flag outside, the waitress had no idea what it was or if they had it. She finally brought the touchscreen menu, pretty much every beer they choose, they didn’t have. One friend ended up getting a cider and the other went inside to find a beer that they actually had.
Just like last time, the service was terrible. We ordered food from Flanigans, when our food arrived, I asked for a refill on my coke, halfway through my meal, she still hadn’t brought it, so I asked a MANAGER for a refill, I never got it. I finished my food with no drink at all.
Service is terrible, beers are out, it is just a terrible place, which I don’t understand, because any other WOB I have been too has been really good. This place need a complete overhaul of staff and management.

I love this place! Where else can you get 50 beers on draft and another 1000 in bottles! Free pizza on Sunday’s, hot bar tenders (love you Mario) the GM Holly rocks this place. Always helpful in picking the perfect beer for you whether you are a seasoned beer drinker or brand new. You can taste away to find the one that satisfies your palette. Ive been to a couple of World of Beer locations in South Florida so far and this one is by far my favorite venue. Me and a big group of friends met for one of our friend’s birthday. We all had a blast! I love the setup there how everything is open and can easily walk outside. None of the ones I have been to have had that kind of setup. I have never seen a DJ at a World of Beer and they had one there. That made it much more fun. I was never really a huge fan of World of Beer unless you just want to kick back and relax and have a beer or 2. This location was much more fun! They had liquor there too! That’s good because my girlfriend hates beer so it was much more enjoyable for her. But our server said I guess all the locations are making that move to stock liquor. Speaking of our server, I forget her name. Small petite blonde woman. She was very polite, accomodating, and friendly. She was also knowledgable of the drink menu. She was constantly checking up on us to see if we needed anything and to see how we liked our drinks. She was awesome so big props to her! Next time I go there, I will approach her and hope she serves me again and get her name for the future visits. I will be coming back here again.

First time here. Got here a little early, sat outside waiting for them to open. Never interacted with the staff. When we overheard one of the guys two guys say «we still not open». Then a spattering of f this and f that. Remember, we sat out side said nothing to no one, just sitting talking to each other. Won’t be back.

Great staff who is very knowledgeable of their beer and attentive to every need! I recommend sitting at the bar or grabbing a hookah on the patio! Mario is the shit!

Thursday night is trivia night. It was my first time visiting this location. I usually go to coconut creek, but was meeting up with friends at Wellington. First impression, true to concept, had the WOB style as other locations. We were a party of 8, and the service was spot on. We all enjoyed ourselves. Overall, great night.

It’s a locals bar! Great beer community atmosphere, hundreds of different beers, loyalty program available, entertainment on weekends and they throw out great events.
Don’t forget great beer knowledge from the workers and friendly customer service.

Got scammed by our server. Every person in our party was shorted a dollar in change. The manager I talked to didn’t even apologize which makes me believe this is a policy there. We won’t be back.

Perfect sunday night hang out spot for drinks !! Huge selection ive pretty much never had the same beer twice, theirs soo much to try from!

I love this place beer selection obviously amazing, the bartender are on point with there knoweldge of the beer and willingness to help. My fav thing to do is come watch sports here with plenty of TVs we can always find what we are looking for on one, if not we just ask and they have no problem putting it on. They have menu from local places that will deliver if interested in food which works, but informed they are adding a small menu soon excited to see that

Awesome place! Ashley the waitress was awesome! The only down fall is that there is no food but we ordered from the place next door!!! Can’t wait to go again!

This place has a great selection of beer. It’s definitely a place to check out if you’re into trying different types of beers from around the country and world. The atmosphere is pretty cool. They sit at the end cap of the plaza so they have 2 walls that are roll up windows so you get an open air feel when the weather is nice and they have the windows open. They have outdoor and indoor seating.
We went in for a couple of flights of beer in the afternoon on Christmas Eve and there were maybe 20 people in the place. We didn’t sit at the bar because we had 5 people in our party and wanted to be able to face one another to talk. They had 2 or 3 bartenders working, more than enough to provide decent service to the few people there, but the service was not good. One of the girls was taking shots with some of the guys at the bar, and seemed to forget about us multiple times. We had to remind her we were waiting for drinks multiple times. I would give the girl some slack, since she had to work on Christmas Eve, but if you’re going to take shots with the patrons, hold it well and keep it together!
I’m sure I’ll go back to give it another chance… I hope the service is better because it really is a cool place.
Tip: They don’t serve food, but there are a few restaurants around the are that you can order from and some will deliver to the bar.

I love everything about World of Beer except for the service. No matter when we have stopped by, the service is painfully slow, if existent at all. It doesn’t matter where you sit, how crowded they are, always slow. We have sat outside on a Saturday afternoon when they were nearly empty, slow. We have sat at the bar on a Friday night when they were moderately crowded, slow. I’m not sure what the problem is, but I don’t get it.
I want so badly to love the concept, it’s awesome. So many different, great beers. The venue is really nice, seating comfortable, decent bathrooms. I like that the local restaurants deliver if you’re hungry. The live bands on Friday nights are great. But dang, can they please find a way to make it work? I could easily give this place five stars if they could reduce the insane waiting time.

Stopped by here for a beer but quickly found out that not only are you treated to a great listing of beers but also a great example of the worst service I’ve ever witnessed anywhere. I love great beers, the monetary price isn’t too bad, but the price of having to put up with a wait staff far more concerned with matters other than those of their customers is too much for me to pay. Hence, not a place I’d recommend.
I was hesitant to write a bad review of this establishment, as I am hesitant to write a bad review of any business, but since I see that several of my other fellow Unilocalers have experienced the same, the bad service and lack of attention must indeed be the norm and my bad experience not an exception.
Then, since about all they do is hand you a beer made by someone else, any stars would properly good to whoever did the beer, not the place where someone handed to you unless they were knowledgeable, polite, attentive and guided you in your selection, which most certainly wouldn’t be likely to happen with this motley, inattentive wait staff.
