Good small town pizza place. We normally get the calzones and they are tasty! Staff is always frendly too.

Great Pizza for a small town. Much better and less greasy than Dominos. The subs are great too. I love that they make their own bread from scratch!

I grew up in the 80’s and we went to the Pizza Palace frequently every weekend for pizza on through the 90’s. They even used to have an arcade. The pizza back then was top notch and was made with pride. They got a ton of our business. Unfortunately, the pizza is not as good as it was growing up and the service is even worse. Let’s start with the pizza. Greasy, greasy, greasy. Also, check the pizza before taking it home. Sometimes they come lopsided with an odd cheese-to-sauce ratio. The staff is not very apologetic about it, either. This isn’t just a one-time-bad-experience example, either. Now let’s go on to the service. The employees have obviously not been given any training in customer service. Customers walk into the joint and are treated with flagrant disregard. No smiles. No thank you. No warm and inviting faces. It’s almost as if the owners of the Pizza Palace have put the business on auto-pilot and are satisfied with whatever business is coming in. They’re no longer concerned with growth, or improvement in their product. It’s a poor reflection of charming small-town family-owned businesses. It has so much potential. By comparison, when I go to Dominos in Wellington, I’m greeted with a squeaky clean facility and a bright shiny staff who have obviously been trained in customer service: Smile. Say«thank-you.» Make the customer think you care. Admittedly, this review is skewed toward what the Pizza Palace used to be compared to what it is now. The town of Wellington deserves better.

Very inconsistent. I was told I cannot get a med. in thin crust, It would have to be a large. Fine. When I call and order again, this time a lg., I was told they don’t do thin crust in supreme. Several occasions, I have ordered, and was given the wrong price, Had to call to get my total corrected. It’s a shame that in a small town, where there is no competition, for pizza, that they just don’t seem to care and that we should just be grateful that there here.

Stopped back in again and watched the woman make my small pepperoni pizza. She struggled to work the dough onto the screen like she had no idea on how to make a pizza. It was painful watching this misuse of dough. She pulled and stretched it like the guys making noodles in China. I guess the owners in Wellington probably don’t care or even read Unilocal.Too bad they could have this place busy all the time with people wanting to get pizza, I mean I see a ton of kids of the street all the time. If they only put a little effort in making a decent pie. They have all the tools but I really think they just don’t care its like the pizza place is a side hobby instead of a business that could net you a decent profit.

This was a major let down. Moved here recently and hoped we could at least get a decent pie for $ 18! I can get a steak for that. How hard is it to mess up pizza… The entire pizza was bland, everything fell right off when you picked it up. the veggies were diced up, sauce had no taste… really really bland.

3.5 stars. The place is very small but the pizza is very decent! I would definitely go back. The pizza is not as greasy as so many other pizza restaurants are so that is very much a good thing! Lots of toppings and choices as to how you want your pizza to be.

I had spent so many days after school sitting at the Pizza Palace with my friends. I can’t say for sure if I’d like the food today as my tastes are much more refined. At the time I loved the food here and they even had fountain soda! The arcade room was pretty small but in a town without a single stoplight you can’t complain much!
