Pretty good. Strong drinks, very friendly staff. Fried chicken was really good. Pork ribs were dry, small and covered in average-tasting sauce. ¢40 for dinner and 2 drinks, the dinner was big enough for two meals though.

I ordered the 1.5lb lobster clam bake with mussels with baked potato. The lobster was completely bland because it was boiled in non-salted/sea water. Absolutely no flavor. Who boils lobster on the coast and not use sea water? It’s literally in their back yard! The mussels i ordered were terrible too. Half were inedible due to the meat completely broken and the others tasted off. Not fresh and also completely bland. On top of it all, the waitress forgot about the potato. After I brought this up near the end of my meal(thinking it was going to come out eventually) no effort was made on their part to make things right. Just horrible. Skip the terrible seafood and stay with the BBQ.

Parking was easy in their private lot. We were seated quickly and the wait staff were both friendly and timely. Their special fried chicken was kinda dark as they did not change their oil often enough. The whole belly fried clams did not have many bellies, which give clams their unique and delicious taste. Without bellies, clams are kinda tasteless. We did not try their BBQ. This was a family dinner yet I would not choose to come back. PJ’s down Route 6 is much tastier.

Delicious BBQ. Ordered takeout and brought to beach. Fried chicken, ribs, and pulled pork all tasty! Also our family tried and enjoyed the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. Reasonably priced too.

Fried Chicken Sunset… It’s now a family tradition… Grab a bucket of their fried chicken, beach blanket and some drinks and head over to the bay side to watch the sunset. Some if the best classic fried chicken I’ve had. The ribs aren’t to bad either. The sides are pretty good… Especially the mashed potatoes with gravy. And the cornbread is like dessert. Skip the lines for the restaurant and go take out.

This location has been the home to many restaurants and I have tried them all. The food at Marconi is delicious and the service is just as good. The place is always packed and the restaurant still operates like a smooth sailing ship. My family and friends stop here a few times every summer and it never disappoints. They also must take care of their staff because I see the same people working there year after year. Please bring back the stuffed shrimp :)

Disappointed would be the description of our recent experience at Marconi. Starting with the Quahogs special that turned out to be loaded with filling yet with minimal clams, through the ribs that were overly greasy but overloaded with the barbecue sauce. We miss the quality of the grill as it was. What changed? Hopefully our next visit would be a better experience.

Was looking for good fried clams while in Wellfleet, MA. After driving up and down Rt 6, family and I decided on Marconi’s. Wow what a surprise, I ordered the Fried Clam Platter, wife did too, daughter ordered a seafood over linguine dish. All was excellent, service and food. My clam plate was huge, more than enough and the clams were the best I have had this season, full, large bellied clams, the plate was $ 23.99, Very reasonable price for what we received. Very happy, and walked away full and satisfied. Place was great, decorated with nostalgic stuff from the 50s and 60s, music from the same era playing too and as hot as it was outside 89 degrees, it was a nice cool AC’d place inside.(Cold Sam Adams Summer was good too). Highly recommended. I hear they have great BBQ here too.

This is such a good option for everything. The lobster roll was mayo free and amazing, the pulled pork sandwiches were incredible and the waitstaff are amazing. And the beers are cheap! This place is perfect for pre-beach food and post-beach beers. Definitely my favorite place on the Cape yet.

BBQ was great. My daughter had the ribs and loved them. The BBQ stew was amazing. I would definitely recommend it as a post beach stopover.

OUTSTANDING service by Theresa the hostess and Kelley our waitress. The restaurant easily handled a party of eight that included four children. Very Early American theme that was very cool. Enjoyed the ribs and pulled brisket with homemade mashed potatoes– VERY good. Others enjoyed fried lobster, shrimp scampi and pulled pork. Decent selection of local craft beers — try the Cape Cod Red. Not bad at all! Overall, very friendly place with very good food.

Maybe for the outer Cape, three stars(but compared to the best tasty bbq I’ve ever had, I’d say barely a two star experience). Quantity over quality, IMHO. Server was helpful and efficient and honest about the beef ribs being on the fatty side.(We passed on them) PS. Every time I drive by, I’m encouraged by seeing the smoker outside in front, hickory or mesquite or? wafting through the air… And then so turned off by the guy puffing on his cigarette as he tends to the food and adds some nicotine smoke. ;)

Amazing… Lots of great food. Very fresh seafood. Being a sushi aficionado the seared tuna appetizer was amazing. The Wasabi was incredibly with the seared tuna. Highly recommended. Very large portions and great quality. Excellent variety of foods. Smoked meats and seafood.

One of my family’s favorites. The portions are huge and the food is excellent. Haven’t had a bad meal there yet and have tried almost everything! Has a good beer selection on tap. Sometimes the owner/cook Russ comes out and thanks customers for eating there. You can tell he enjoys his job and appreciates the business. It’s a nice treat, and not very expensive for its location and the amount of food you get. It’s worth stopping, even for take out on the way home from the beach.

Awesome place, you get a TON of food for your money. The lobster roll had the freshest lobster, the cod sandwich had the freshest cod. Definitely a place to stop by on your way to/from P-town! And the fries are the best fries ever!

We’ve gone to this place once a year for the past 2 years. The smokey aromas literally drift onto the highway and draw you in. I’m surprised it hasn’t caused more accidents(especially because traffic on 6 Is a nightmare). Good luck getting in and out during rush hour, but is it worth it? Id say give it a try, the ribs are super tasty and tangy. One full rack ran me $ 20!!! I just think it’s a little bit pricey for what you actually get!(Sides included)

Oddly enough this was our best meal on the cape. Everyone in our party was pleased from the non-seafood eaters to the seafood lovers. The crab and artichoke dip was great as well as the wellfleet oysters(got 7 on the half dozen order) to start. Also enjoyed were the BBQ sampler– killer BBQ sauce and corn bread muffin, hot buttered lobster roll– bursting with lobster for only $ 15(total deal compared to other nearby places), and the seafood scampi– one mussel was«missing» from the shell and the waitress brought out a bowl of 3 – 4 more to replace it. Decent beer selection, quick seating and prompt service. And the owner checked in on us too! If I were to come back, I would come back here. Wish I got some photos before all the food was devoured.

With all the choices to eat in the area, mostly seafood and lobster, lobster, lobster, and more lobster… It was great to find a bbq joint. I gotta say, we loved this place. We ordered the pulled pork platter and pulled pork sandwich. Great but limited beer selection. The platter food portion was enormous. We were so glad we found this place. It was so good, one of my favorite bbq places I have come across for taste. The pulled pork was fabulous as were the mashed potatoes, and sweet potato fries. Wasn’t crazy about cole slaw, on sweet or vinegary side, couldnt tell what it was I didnt care for in it. Great rustic charm(decorated with antiques and gadgets), seated right away(late on a Saturday night, 7ish), and the wait staff was aweome. Prices totally fair for what you get. If you are with someone who wants seafood(…lobster) or steak, they have it too. A place to please everyone. Had the greatest waitress, she went out of her way to find someone we could talk to about the local area. We will come back for sure.

Pleasant, technically perfect BBQ with no regional identity or pretenses. It’s all pretty good, none of it outstanding, but it’s the only game in town if you’re craving BBQ on the lower Cape. OK bar, few veggie options, tendency to sweetness in sauces and slaw. Now they’ve added a more traditional menu to supplement the BBQ
