My family has been with Dr. Savitt for several years. He and his assistant Kate run a professional low key operation, treat their patients well and provide the best family denstry that we have ever experienced. The work is exceptioal and DR. Savitt provides clear explanations of the proceedures and instructions for the patrient aftereach procedure. I have never had to wait for an appointment. He helped my daughter through a major series of proceedures. They took great care in matching teeth color and shape for implants and provided calm informative support for a young person through a complicated process. Dr. Savitt is the best.

In 1 word: UNPROFESSIONAL. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I arrived only to be told that I had no appointment! Luckily I still had the appointment card in my wallet to prove I did in fact have an appointment. So after a few minutes of waiting I went into the procedure«room». This room is actually 1 room acting as 2. I’m not exactly sure what the rooms are divided by but I know that lying on the exam chair I could see the exam light across the room and hear everything they were saying. If privacy is an issue for you, go elsewhere. During this time my wife was in the«waiting room» which is actually an office building hallway with chairs lined up. While I was getting my work done another appointment arrived to which the receptionist lied directly in front of my wife and said«there was a dental emergency, it may be a few minutes…». I guess that’s better than saying«I’m incompetent and don’t know how to make appointments so you’re going to have to wait about 30 minutes due to my error». After my procedure I was told I would need to come in at least 2 more times(this was already my 2nd appointment with this guy)! My procedure was a follow up to a root canal I had elsewhere. I was at Saviit’s that day for a post and planned to come back for the crown and be done but apparently they needed to see me after the crown. I’ve had a root canal before as has my wife– and the root canal, post & crown together add up to about 3 visits TOTAL. Savitt saw me for 1. exam and wanted to see me for 3. crown 4. follow up. A little much, no? So in the car my wife called the office and wanted to know why I required more appointments for a simple post & crown than she and I have ever had for a root canal, post, and crown. She also wanted to know the cost of all these visits. WELL that did not sit well with the receptionist. She got very irritated which then made my wife quite annoyed. After all, THEY are providing a SERVICE to US– NOT the other way around! So Savitt gets on the phone and proceeds to tell her that he «knows what he’s doing» and never gave us a clear answer as to why we needed so many appointments. The next day I received a voice message from the incompetent lying receptionist stating that they canceled my next appointment and I should find another dentist! Can you imagine!!! Well I called back to state that I would have been happy to get the appointments over with and then find another dentist but the receptionist just kept INTERRUPTING me!!! I got so angry with her incredibly rude demeanor that I lost my temper, yelled at her to just SENDMEMYXRAYS and then I hung up on her. So if you’re seeking a doctor with a fragile male ego that cannot handle being questioned and if you enjoy having dental work done 7 feet from another patient all while dealing with a rude and incompetent receptionist then by all means– book an appointment now! But if you’re seeking a private, modern office with a kind and efficient staff– go somewhere else.

Really bad at cleaning teeth. I would NOT recommend going here if at all possible. Not sympathetic to sensitive gums.
